Fan and Shroud Setup Recommendation for 1968 Ford Mustang with 351 Windsor and Scott Drake Radiator
Question:
Hello, I have a 1968 Mustang fastback modified with a stroked 351 Windsor around 500 hp. I have a Scott Drake 2 core 1inch aluminum radiator that measures 16-1/2inch tall fin part only by 21-1/2inch wide fin part only. I have 3-1/2inch between the rad and the waterpump. Can you please let me know what my options would be for this car in terms of electric fans? Thanks for your time, Kindest Regards,

The Derale Dual Fan with Shroud part # D16927 would be a great option that would fit your radiator well. The thickness of the shroud is 2-3/4 inches so it would fit between the radiator and the water pump.
The dimensions of the shroud otherwise would fit well too as the fan measures 26" wide x 18" tall.
