Ideally you want to put snow chains on all 4 wheels of a vehicle. Especially a 4 x 4 since all 4 wheel will be turning.
However, you can run one set of tire chains but you would need to run them on the main drive wheels of the vehicle. So for your truck you would put them on the rear axle since that is primarily where the power will be.
You didn't mention the size of your tires otherwise I would recommend a set, but the # TC2536 that you mentioned are a great set of chains that will easily install, will provide great traction, and are priced great.
You will need to check the owners manual of your vehicle to determine if there are any tire chain restrictions.
