Wiring Diagram for Deka 95-amp Battery Isolator # DW08770

Question:

will this work on a 2007 Chevy silverado and need to see a wiring diagram to see what I have to buy can you send to me before I purchase the Idems.

The Deka Battery Isolator # DW08770 is not vehicle-specific; it will work fine on your 2007 Chevrolet Silverado to protect the truck battery from excessive discharge and to regulate current in a multi-battery system.

If your Silverado has a CS alternator you will use installation kit # DW08768. If it has the standard alternator use kit # DW08769. You can tell if you have the CS130 alternator by checking for its external fan with serpentine belt pulley.

I have linked a wiring diagram for you that shows the connections for the isolator, main truck battery, alternator and auxiliary battery. We also offer a 120-amp version of the isolator, part # DW08771.
