What Vertical Load Means When Referring to a Front Mount Trailer Hitch
Question:
I am looking at getting a front hitch for my truck. I see the information on the hitch referring to vertical pull. Are they talking about the weight this hitch will carry. Just want to make sure. Thank you for your help...

The vertical load, or pull, is essentially the tongue weight of the front mount hitch. This is the amount of weight the hitch can carry, and the line pull capacity is the straight line pull rating for using a winch.
