Troubleshooting Dexter EZ Flex Equalizers that Won't Take Grease
Published 07/01/2015
Question:
I ordered an E-Z Flex system from etrailer.com and had it installed by a shop several years ago but when I tried to grease the fittings some would not take grease so do you have some suggestions? I had the system grease by another shop last year and no problems were addressed at that time that I know of.

Expert Reply:
Typically the way to fix grease fitting that won't take grease is to have them removed and cleared so that the obstruction is removed and it will function.
What you will want to do is remove the zerk fittings of your equalizers with a wrench and then clear the obstructions from the fitting so that they will take grease again.
