    • Tail lights: 7.5 amps per circuit
  • 1-Year limited warranty

Installation

This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located inside your trunk, behind the tail lights on both the driver's side and passenger's side. You will need to remove some interior trim or carpeting to access the harness.

Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed within your trunk.

It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Circuit-Protected Tail Light Converter

A tail light converter is built into this T-One connector. Because most trailers run on a two-wire system - wherein the brake and turn signals are carried on one wire - the separate brake and turn signals from your vehicle's three-wire system need to be combined so they are compatible with the wiring system of your trailer. The tail light converter combines the brake and turn signal functions of your automobile so that they run on one wire to properly activate your trailer's tail lights. Note: This will not affect how the tail lights on your vehicle operate.

This converter safeguards itself and your vehicle against possible electrical shorts and overloads with integrated short circuit protection. Just install the connector as indicated and rest assured that the wiring system of your vehicle will remain feedback-free.

Fast service, easy install, will do business again.

Just got it today - but it will be my second install. If it goes as well as the last time this will be a snap.

Great company to deal with

by:

awesome ... easy install , no cutting any wires
heavy duty ....

by:

Product seems to work all right, but was a pain to install because of all the body panels that had to be removed. I know that's not your fault.

by:

LightsSo simple to install,You must remove all compartments on the side and floor of trunk area.Unsnap your original harness, snap in the T-one kit,Your good to go.

by:

Excellent product, online video made installation easy. Etrailer shipping was incredibly fast, thanks!

by:

Great product. You pay more for it but it simplifies the wiring where you don't have to do anything but plug and play. This type of wiring reduces the possibility of wires shorting and makes sure that every wire is going where it should

by:
2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

The installation was easy and straight forward. Thanks to the video, I was able to use a couple of the extra hints which made the installation even easier. etrailer understands complete customer service.

by:

Installed this in a 2003 Santa Fe. Moving the paneling out of the way was a bit of a hassle. Otherwise, it was a pretty easy and straightforward installation. I placed the circuit protector in the space between the body and interior wall. Then I routed the right side wiring through the grooves in the storage supports and under the narrow panel that extends left to right.

WAS A QUICK INSTALL FOR THE MECHANIC

by:

The mechanic was going to charge me $252.00 for a two hour job. That's about what my lawyer charges. I mean a good mechanic is worth his salt; of course, I'm going to pay. Idon't know know what I'm doing.

However, the DIY video I found on etrailer made the installation look so easy I thought I'd give it a try, and save $252.00 I tried, nearly failed, unable to disconnect the connectors. But if you wedge a screwdriver head in the side of the connector, the darn thing pops right out. I didn't see that on the video. Then on the other side the darn thing popped right out on the first try. I nearly fainted.

Still working after a year. Great product. No complaints.!

2003 Hyundai Santa Fe

As with all of the items we have ordered from etrailer this harness continues to serve us well. With four Santa Fe's (2002,2003,2007,2011) in the family we have installed harnesses in all as well as hitches. They all went in easily enough and etrailer's installation videos were of tremendous help in simplifying the tasks.

Replaced a failed unit of another brand. The Tekonsha unit seemed to be of higher quality. Excellent instructions made for a simple installation. Another trusted product from etrailer.com.

After a year, the unit is still functioning perfectly. My vehicle is stored outside, closed up in hot, sunny summers, freezing in frigid Minnesota winters. The Tekonsha unit continues to do its job, perfectly.

by:
2013 Ford Explorer

Usiong the online video provided by etrailer helped immensely. While not specific to my vehicle (2012 Ford Explorer) the 2013 model used was extremely close. There were some questions that arose as the video covers installation on a factory installed towing package, but the folks at etrailer's customer service group were more than helpful in researching and coming up with the needed answers/information. Brake controller works great!

by:

My harness was delivered fast. The instructions where clear and easy to follow. I had mine installed in no time, and it continues to work well as of today. The construction was far better that I expected. I would buy this product again. Thank you etrailer.com for a great product!

Its still works great after a years uses. I would buy this again if needed.

by:

I installed this hitch about a year ago. Following the available video's made it pretty easy and I'm not really that mechanical. The wiring harness was also pretty straight forward. Overall, it has functioned perfectly. Does what a trailer hitch is supposed to do. The bottom line is this is much cheaper to buy directly and install yourself than to have someone else do it. Would definitely recommend.

Very good product. I used etrailer you tube video for installation. Works like a charm.

Hyundai Elantra Touring 2012: Piece of Cake to install. Took Just about an hour. Loved the T-Connectors, made the install very simple. No need to splice into wires!!! Did not have to pull out the cargo side panels completely, just enough to get access to the rear light wiring harness. Will be using it to tow a utility trailer. Thank You !!!

by:
2004 Hyundai Santa Fe

I have to say..... went perfect. Ordered the tow package and wiring for a 04 Hyundai santa fe and I was ready to have someone install it. Watched the video that came with my order and two hours later I was completely done.

Way to go etrailer.

by:
2015 Hyundai Santa Fe

Got it exactly when I was supposed too. So very easy to install. Maybe 15 minutes to disassemble the back it the Santa Fe. Five minutes to install the harness and 10 to reassemble. Plugged into the trailer and jackpot!!! Running lights , break lights and turnsignals. So happy I found your product on YouTube!!! Awesome!!! Thanks for the great service and product!!!

by:
2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

Hitch was packaged great, very clear instructions, no missing fasteners, easy install. The trailer light kit also purchased went on without a problem. All worked well.

  • Will a Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Fit a 2012 Hyundai Elantra Touring
If you have a 2012 Hyundai Elantra Touring Hatchback, the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 24844, will fit. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you. I have also included a link to all of the hitches that fit the Touring Hatchback model. If you plan on doing some towing, this is a Class I trailer hitch with a 2,000 pound gross trailer weight capacity and 200 pound tongue weight capacity. You will want to consult the vehicle owners manual to determine the towing capacities...

The Draw-Tite hitch #24795 will fit your 2010 Hyundai Elantra as long as it is the Sedan model. We have test fitted the product on a Hyundai Elantra with a tow loop and I attached photos of the hitch on the vehicle. The hitch sits right in front of the tow loop and it does not interfere with the use or installation of the hitch. If your Elantra is a Touring Hatchback, this hitch will not fit and you will need Draw-Tite Hitch Receiver #24844. This hitch has a powder coat finish to ensure...

For your 2010 Hyundai Elantra Touring Hatchback we have the Draw Tite hitch part # 24844 which is a confirmed fit. I like this option the best as the hitch tube will be concealed unlike the Curt equivalent. Also if you were to ever carry a bike rack you wouldn't need a stabilizer strap like you would with the Curt. You'll need the ball mount part # 3594, hitch ball # 19256, and trailer wiring # 118473 and you'd be set.
