Question:
I have a 2001 Hyundai SantaFe which I will have a 5 pole connector because the stop and turn lights are on separate poles. The trailer has the two on one pole and has a 4 pole connector. What do I need to do? Thanks Bob

Instead of using the 5 pole connector, you will need a T-1 Connector, part # 118473. The T-1 connector has a tail light converter that combines the brake and directional signals onto one circuit for the left side of the trailer, and one for the right side.
This will allow you to tow any trailer with a 4-pole connector.
