Today we're taking a look at how the Inno roof rack system with the regular length 48 inch long crossbars fits on the 2019 Ford Fiesta. For your Ford Fiesta, if you want to carry around some other accessories let's say you wanna carry around a kayak or a roof box or even a roof mounted bike rack, what you first need is a roof rack system. So this is a system from Inno. Definitely a solid choice if you want something that is sleek, has included locks and is an aero design. Also, my personal favorite part is the accent end cap. So there's actually two options of Inno roof racks for your Ford Fiesta.
One, it has a 48 inch long crossbar. This is ideal if you don't want anything sticking out too far past your vehicle but if you wanna fully maximize your space you may wanna check out the 51 inch long crossbars. Then you get a longer bar. The downside to that, if you get longer overhang and you're gonna have to be conscious of not hitting your head against it when you get into the car. Here, we don't really have that much overhang.
You can offset it to one side which is what I did with our rear crossbar to show it off but mainly just have the end cap sticking out past the tower. That end cap can actually come off to give you access to your T track system. See here how we have that rubber seal. Or you can just push down on the seal and now you can slide your T track mounted accessories through. That way you don't have to do any cutting or adjusting.
You just slide them through and once they're through, pop that end cap right back on. The towers have included locks which surprisingly most brands don't have. Some of your more premium brands actually require that you buy locks separately to add on. Now the locks are all keyed alike, so you're just gonna use one key to access the whole system. With the end cap off, you can now access your roof rack.
Now the T track mounted accessories, they do not have a locking end cap. So you may wanna take a look at some accessories that have locks on them if you want full security. So this does have a custom fit kit which is designed around the shape of your vehicle. The downside to this is it requires you put it in one spot on your car and you can't move them back and forth. So your crossbar spread is fixed at almost 27 inches, center to center. Some accessories require specific crossbars, right Especially roof boxes. So just double check yours if it will fit. So everything is gonna be included with this kit. Make sure you get the right kit by using our fit guide here at etrailer.com because that will include the length of the crossbars, the towers, as well as the custom fit kit. You are gonna have the tools included. You are gonna have the keys included. All you need to bring on a table is your tape measure to get that process started. So the install process might look a little confusing at first because there's different like pad numbers, there's different hooks there's different measurements depending on if it's the front or the rear crossbar. And that's what this video is for. The process is actually really simple as long as you know how to follow the different steps. So I already installed the rear crossbar. We are gonna install the front crossbar together and we are gonna start with how to get the towers onto the bar. So you need to get this plate into the crossbar. So the first thing is take off the end cap and go over to where your tray is and slide that out. Once you slide that all the way out you then get that plate and bring it up from the bottom and then slide that back through. Get your tower and then fit that over the thread on that plate. You're gonna have an included Allen key to tighten that down just a little bit. Next, you're gonna slide that tower out to the distance apart it needs to be. So double check the instructions for your specific vehicle and then you're gonna line up your tower. There's a little notch on there that needs to fit the measurement you need to get. Once you found that spot, tighten down that tower and then you're gonna put the appropriate flip pad. So for our front crossbar, it's gonna be 411. That's the number on there. So now you're just gonna tighten down your tower at that measurement you got and then put the pad on the tower. This is 411 which matches the front. And then double check that the back has the correct pads. On your car, there's specific instructions for where you need to put that front crossbar. So measure from the door and then go out. Now for here you do have an included sticker that you can put there just to save your spot. And now you're ready to put your crossbar on your roof. Fortunately, you have those rubber pads so you can put them there all by yourself. Plus just make sure that you have it facing the right way. You want the taller portion facing front and the tapered end of the crossbar facing the back. Once you've lined up your tower right there for your spot then just get your hook. You're gonna have a washer as well as a bolt. Thread that onto the tower and hand tighten it down. Your tool is gonna have a torque spec. So what that means is so that you don't over tighten it once you get enough tension, it's gonna click. The final step is then to get your end caps. So these are locking end caps, they fit onto the tower like that. Turn the key to lock it. Do that for all four towers and then that's it. You're done with the install. You're ready to load up your roof rack and hit the road. And that was a look at the Inno roof rack system with the 48 inch long aero bars, the through feet for your naked roofs, as well as the custom fit kit for your 2019 Ford Fiesta sedan..

Great profile. Looks good on truck.
Locking and unlocking very easy.
2016 Golf R MK7
Love it so far
By far the best service I have received in a very long time. I recieved my inno flush feet areo crossbars, sooner than expected and the assembly was just as specified. I especially liked having the video with the tutorial.
I like the look of the low profile and the quality is outstanding. I have used this for my kayak and the low profile helps with the loading and unloading.
I would highly recommend this product and Company.
Josh is the greatest! Thanks for all the help!
etrailer gave me fast shipping and a great price. Inno quality is great. I’ve had this on for several months and use it to transport bikes. I use the cheap bike racks on [online] but they work.
fast shipping, great customer service, and easy to install
I like that the feet don't extend too much beyond the width of the vehicle (2012 Toyota Prius V). No noticeable wind noise or fuel economy change. They held two bikes just fine. The tightening process feels very secure, but took me a while to do. I wasn't in a hurry so it was fine.
The rails completed the parts I needed to install my roof rack on my 2010 Forester. What was particularly important were the buying and installation guides and video for the products I selected. Order placement was simple, and the order follow up from eTrailers was greatly appreciated.
Easy and worked well with the total kit for our vehicle. Feel sturdy and strong. We’re happy with them.
Thank you etrailer my car looks great I spent 4 hours to ensemble this cross bar and the bask rack but finally I made it now I have more cargo space in my car I really recommend etrailer good quality items and good service thanks again
Shipping and packaging was very good and delivered on time!
Love the flush bar look!
Great product and figment, the service was great as well, the only suggestion I have is if there is a product that cannot be shipped to Canada it should be told when you try to order it, however the follow up call was appreciated .
Easy install, build quality is really nice as is fit and finish. Almost no wind noise at highway speed.
Heavy duty and well designed feet. Love the locking feature, and instructions were clear.
The quality of this product is 5 start and fit exactly with my 2017 nissan rogue..
These are really aero dynamic with a sleek design. It doesn’t cause a lot of of air drag like the super known brand.
I bought this for my 2016 Fiat 500X which has two glass sunroofs, and it fits perfectly! Follow the directions, put the bars where it says to, and your glass will be safe. You can't open the sunroof while this is in place, but hey, at least you can haul gear on your roof without breaking the glass.
Everything about this kit met my expectations.
- Perfect fit for my Ford Edge, as advertised.
- Lowest bar height that was still high enough for the Edge Vista roof to clear. The glass does clear when nothing is attached to the bars.
- Aero bar shape. I haven't done a lot of miles yet with only the bars and no other attachments.
I attached an Inno roof box (which still fits through my garage door!) and did a 2000 mile road trip at insterstate speeds. Except the box noise (expected), and a bit of a mileage hit, I had no issues. Secure fit the whole way.
I bought the whole kit for 2008 honda fit for a cross-country trip, and it performed great. Made it with two surfboards on top with no problems. Instructions for installation are atrocious, but youtube videos can fill in the gaps. Shipping was quick. I didn't use any of the customer service options, but it seems like they would be useful if needed.
The roof rack arrived days before it was scheduled to. Everything ordered arrived intact. Assembly and installation were pretty easy per the directions included and the video on the etrailer site. The rack looks fine on my Maxda CX5 and the additional noise from the rack is not too bad. Haven't had my cargo box on the rack yet but anticipate no problems with it. My experience with etrailer has been first rate.
The Inno racks have handled an assortment of different loads without problems. They are quiet at highway speeds. The lack of tie down points are the only drawback with these racks.
These are great! Easy to use and easy to install. Thanks George!
