Today we're going to be taking a look at the K Source replacement side mirror for the passenger side of your vehicle. Now this product fits a 2007-2013 Chevrolet Avalanche, 2007-2014 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, 07-14 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL, 2007 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra new body, 2008-2013 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, and the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 models. The side view mirror is a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your vehicle. This is modeled after the manufacturers original look and fit. Now to double check or to make sure that this is a fit for your vehicle you can always use the vehicle fit guide located a etrailer.com. The unit does feature power wheel capability, that's going to allow you to adjust the mirror face position by using the factory power controls from inside the vehicle. It's also going to feature a really nice heated mirror glass, that's going to do a great job at clearing frost and ice, and it's going to help reduce fogging. I do want to point out that right here we do have the LED arrow, that's going to illuminate red in the mirror face.

That's going to light up when the turn signal's activated. That's going to be a high intensity LED system, they're designed to be much brighter and more efficient, more signal output when compared to standard or traditional signal lights. The units also going to feature the OE grade convect glass with first surface plating. It does a great job at reflecting clear images. The front of the glass is actually plated with a reflective chrome, and in the convex lens is going to provide a wide angle view that's really going to help reduce blind spots. Now this does feature a breakaway design, so if the mirror is struck from the front or from the rear it will fold to help deter breakage. It's going to feature a really nice durable plastic housing, down here it has the textured black finish and then this upper piece is kind of more like a smoother or shiny black finish.

That can be painted to match the vehicle if desired. It's an easy no drill installation. It's going to use the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror. You've got the three mounting studs there and each stud comes with a nut for it. The mirror is going to plug into the existing electrical wiring on the vehicle. Now please keep in mind that the power remote capability of the heated glass, or excuse me. The power remote capability, the heated glass, and the LED turn signal in the mirror will work only if your vehicle already has those functions.
