Today we're going to be taking a look at the US Army Combat Action Badge. This is a 2" hitch cover from AMG. This hitch cover is going to add a clean finished look to your hitch and it's going to help keep dirt and grime out of the hitch. The hitch cover is made from a steel construction. It's going to feature a nice black powder coat finish for rust and corrosion protection. Here on the front face we're going to have the chrome plated metal emblem.
It's going to feature a rust-proof and fade-proof design. This product is American made. On the backside it's going to feature a foam gasket to help reduce rattling between the hitch and the hitch cover. The hitch cover does require a hitch pin and clip, or a hitch pin and lock, to get it securely locked to the hitch. Those items are sold separately so if you need one, you can find them right here at etrailer.com.
The pinhole on this hitch cover will accept a standard 5/8" diameter pin. Very simple installation. You just slide this piece into your hitch, line up your pinholes, then secure with a hitch pin and clip, or a hitch lock. We're going to make a measurement of the hitch cover face, starting with the overall width. That's going to be about 5". Overall height is going to be about 3.5".
The distance that we have from the foam pad to the center of the hitch pinhole is going to be about 2.5". Again, this is designed for 2"x2" trailer hitch receiver. That's going to do it for today's look at the US Army Combat Action Badge 2" hitch cover from AMG.

The hitch cover looks way better in person and has some heft to it. I attached a picture with my hand for reference. I am loving the look and it sets my truck apart from the crowd. Truly amazing product and etrailer’s supply line and follow up is amazing. They have truly great customer service which is few and far between these days. Kudos!!!

The hitch cover looks great and it was built solid. It has the simple, classic look and is a great addition to my truck. Only downside is it didn’t come with a cotter pin so I have to make a trip to Home Depot before I can put it on my truck.

Before I took it out of the box, I could tell that this was a high quality product. The colors are bright and the fit is perfect. The foam seal to keep water out of the hitch was an unexpected nice touch. It looks great on my truck.
Be advised, it does not come with any kind of retaining device, you will need a hitch pin to keep it in place. I purchased a locking pin because something as nice as this would probably get stolen.

Did a lot of research on this product and it came through with flying colors. I ordered this product and one other from another site. This cover was superior in thickness size and chrome. Also the pin opening is large enough for standard 4" pins. If you are considering this product I suggest you don't wait. As for the company, great service. I was contacted shortly after the purchase, tracked the item and was contact about satisfaction after delivery. Outstanding. Will not return item but with their attention to detail I am sure if there were anything of issue the company would be on top of it. Thank you I will be ordering from you again.
