Hey there neighbor, it's Kevin here with etrailer and today we're gonna be taking a look at it and showing you how to install the Furrion Vision S+ RV Backup Camera system here on our 2014 Prime Time RV Tracer Air Travel Trailer. If you're like me and you leave work late on a Friday night, but you still have to pack up, get your camper all ready to go and then get yourself down to the campground and now you're getting there super late and it's dark and everyone's probably already started drinking and having a good time. So you really don't have that reliable person to kinda help back you into the campground. Well, Furrion's thought of that and they came up with the Vision S system and have upgraded it since to the Vision S+, so that way you don't have to rely on somebody else to back your camper in to the campsite when you have low visibility. So taking a closer look at our camera, I just wanna go over a few of the features. Starting out, we have eight LEDs in the face of our camera and what those are gonna do is provide that nighttime visibility, which is going to be up to 16 feet. more

Kevin here with etrailer, and today, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Voyager WiSight 2.0 RV backup camera here on our 2018 Airstream Bambi Sport travel trailer. If you own a trailer, then you probably know all too well just how hard it can be to actually back this into your camping spot or at that storage lot when you have all this other stuff going on around alongside of you. So the simplest way and the least amount of headache is going to be adding in a rearview camera so that way you can actually see what is going on. And with as far as technology's advanced, you get a much wider angle so you can kind of get a little bit of the side view as well with your rear camera. So that way you know you're not potentially gonna pass too far out, maybe hit a tree, maybe you have some branches kind of hanging over into the area or there's some other things sticking out from one of the other campers while you're in that storage lot. more

So a camera system has pretty much become the standard for most trailers now just because it's really hard to kind of see exactly what you're backing into. All these trailers are getting a whole lot bigger, and campsites really aren't getting that much larger themselves, so it is typically hard to kind of get your trailer in, especially if you're doing this, you know, Friday night, starting to get dark, really makes it a hassle, cause a lot of fights with your spouse just because, you know, you're trying to work together and communicate on how to get that trailer in there. The RVS camera system's gonna come with a few different versions. The version we installed in this work van today has two of the rear cameras that we have right here. For us, we made it easier for our neighbors so that they can see when they're pulling into a spot so that they're not gonna end up hitting any railings 'cause now they have that front camera to kind of see over the engine and actually be able to know when to stop. This is also gonna come with two side marker cameras. That way, if you're making turns on the road or maybe you're trying to back into a spot and you just need a little bit more vision over to that side of your vehicle, that can help you out and make things a whole lot easier. more

A Closer Look at the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System with 5.6" Monitor- Video
Hey neighbors, Kevin here with etrailer and today we're going to be showing you how to increase your visibility with our RVS Backup Camera System. Taking a closer look at our front and rear cameras, these are gonna have a 130-degree view so you got a nice wide angle. You can see a good majority behind you, as well as a little bit off of the sides. And if we look a little bit closer, you can see the infrared sensors alongside of the camera and that's gonna give you up to 50-feet of visibility in the dark. If we look closer at the sides, there is a bit of adjustability with our mounting bracket as well as with this little cover that we have right here so we can get a nice great view of what we need to see and then also kind of block out the sun. That way, we're not having our whole camera view just kind of hazed over to where we can't really get a good view. more

Having a backup camera set up for the back of your camper is really gonna allow you to survey the area, whether you're backing up or you're cruising on the highway. A lot of people think because it is a backup camera, that's the name of it, it's really more of a rear view camera because the rear view camera on your vehicle is no longer useful when hooked up to the trailer. So having that camera back there, we've got the trailer just backed into our shop 'cause it's raining right now. You can see that it's working perfectly. more

But even while we're driving down the road, it wirelessly links to a screen in your car. It's a five-inch screen that gives you pretty good visibility, and gives you real time feed and video while you're driving. So when we're going down the highway, and we wanna switch lanes or pass someone, we can be sure that we're fully past someone and we don't have to worry about misjudging the length of our camper, because we can see that car that we just passed in the backup camera here, and it's a pretty good fisheye lens so we get a wide field of view, and we can see a lot with it. more

Hey guys, it's Kevin here with etrailer and today I'm gonna be showing you how to install the Furrion Vision S Camera System with side marker cameras here on our 2018 Keystone Cougar Half-Ton Fifth Wheel. This monitor right here is our seven inch monitor. There are the 4.3 and the five inch monitors, which can also come with those side marker cameras. The only issue is that the smaller one isn't going to be able to hold as many cameras. So realistically, you're kind of just stuck with the five inch or the seven inch whenever you're trying to add in those side marker cameras. Now, if you have a larger dash, maybe you're putting this in a motor home, then it definitely is better to go with the larger screen. more

So the Furion backup camera system is gonna be an awesome addition here to your trailer because it's gonna allow you to remain safe when you're driving out on the road or backing up. So this camera system here is actually powered by the running light circuit, meaning it's gonna have power and you're gonna get a picture in the vehicle whenever we have our running lights on. So we're traveling down the highway, whether we wanna see behind us, maybe we need to get over in a lane, or we just wanna see what's going on at the back of our trailer. Hey, everybody, How's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Furrion Vision S observation camera system here on our 2019 Forest River Wildwood X-Lite. So this kit here is an observation camera, meaning that the cameras are gonna have power as soon as we turn on the running lights in our vehicle. Now, a lot of these Wildwood X-Lites are actually pre-wired for this specific camera system. Therefore, it's gonna make for a plug-and-play installation. But if your particular trailer isn't pre-wired, you can still install this kit because it is gonna give you the hardwire harness as well. So there's quite a few variations of this camera system, and they're all gonna work on this Wildwood. more

Now, this is a wireless backup camera system that has the three LED waterproof cameras with night vision. There's one rear marker camera that has the red lens. There one chain here with etrailer.com. Today I have a 2021 Grand Design Reflection Fifth Wheel. And I want to walk you through how to install the Furrion Vision S Wireless Backup Camera. Adding a backup camera to your vehicle or to your camper is going to allow you to see a lot better out of the back. Now it doesn't necessarily mean it's only going to be used when you're in reverse. It can be used as long as you have your running lights turned on the camera is going to be on. more
