Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2022 Honda Ridgeline, we're gonna be showing you how to install the REDARC custom-fit adapter harness. Before we do that though, let's just check this out and make sure it's going to work for you. So right off the bat, what REDARC has done is made a plug-and-play-type harness for their trailer brake controllers. So this is going to work with the REDARC Tow-Pro Liberty, which is what we have installed on our Honda here today. It'll plug in to this portion there, and then this will plug into your factory connector, which is located behind this panel. more

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we'll be taking a look at the CURT premium hanging-style bike rack, right here on our 2019 Honda Ridgeline. So the CURT premium bike rack is great if you want something that's affordable, it can carry a lot of bikes and has the unique feature to make it easier to carry those bikes of different shapes and sizes like your children's bikes or your women's bikes. So we'll talk about that later in this video, but we are gonna focus on our Honda Ridgeline here today. That way you can see how it works with the truck, and then make the best fit for you, your different types of bikes, and your vehicle. Today on our 2019 Honda Ridgeline, we're going to be taking a look at the Husky WeatherBeater floor liners for the second row.Now the best thing about this floor liner is that it is one piece, and so what that means it's going to give us a hundred percent coverage. Goes all the way up underneath the front seats and runs all the way back, well underneath the rear seats and even up this panel here a little ways. Now that one piece is nice because you're not going to have to worry about dealing with two separate mats. You put this one in, you know you're completely covered. It is going to have some openings here, which allow your seats to fold down without interfering with the floor liner.So just to kind of give you an example of that, we'll go ahead and fold our seat down. more

Today, on our 2019 Honda Ridgeline, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Pop & Lock custom tailgate handle with a manual lock, as well as a power lock.Many people decide to put a cover on their truck to help keep the items inside more secure, only to find out even when the truck itself is locked that the tailgate will still open regardless and that kind of defeats the purpose, the cover itself. And that's where the Pop & Lock is going to come into play. It's going to allow you to keep your tailgate locked up, keeping your items inside of your bed, secure. And it's going to be really easy to do that. Hey guys. Today, we have a 2018 Honda Ridgeline and we're going to do a test fit of the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider two-bike platform rack. Now, this two-bike platform rack will mount to your two inch by two inch receiver or your inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver. It's going to allow you to carry up to two bikes to and from the trails. It secures your bike at three different points and I will say, compared to other bike racks, it's very secure and your bike has hardly any wiggle room, which is a feature I like.The three points are going to be one of them down here, is a hook and loop strap on the back wheel. We have the same thing on the front wheel. more

Rola 22x59 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2018 Honda Ridgeline- Video
Hey guys, today we have a 2018 Honda Ridgeline and we're going to do a test of the Rola Cargo Carrier. Now this carrier mounts to your two inch by two inch hitch receiver that you have on your Ridgeline. It's going to allow you get any excess cargo, luggage, other gear, out of your cab or out of the bed of your truck and onto the carrier so that you have more storage space on the inside for other things.The carrier's going to have a 600 pound weight capacity, which is kind of above average for standard cargo carriers, so it's going to be plenty of capacity to get all your gear on top and we are going to have these raised side rails all the way around that you can use as tie-down points, whether you've got bungee straps, ratchet straps or anything like that. If you need some type of security straps, we sell plenty here at etrailer.Now, as far as storage space, if we go inside rail to inside rail, on the width I'm going to have 59 inches of storage space right there and on the length, inside rail to inside rail, it's going to be 22 inches. Again, more than enough space to get your cargo in there. If you've got bigger items like coolers or plastic bins full of stuff if you're moving, it's going to be plenty of space.We have this nice mesh floor to it as well. more

Hey guys, today we have a 2019 Honda Ridgeline and we're going to do a test of the Hollywood Racks Destination 4 Bike Platform Rack. Now, this platform rack is going to mount to your 2 inch by 2 inch receiver on your Ridgeline. It's going to be able to carry up to 4 bikes to and from the trails, or wherever else you want to take them.Now, hold your bike in 3 different points. We're going to have 2 straps on each wheel, or one strap on each wheel, excuse me, and we see the back wheel right here, we go up and see the front one. Now, each strap is going to have that nice rubber pad on it to help protect your bike frame and wheels from any type of scratches or abrasions. The third point of contact, is a little bit different compared to a lot of platform racks, because most platform racks, because most platform racks have a hook that puts down with force on top of your bike frame. more

Now this is going to do a fantastic job of not only keeping our bed protected from the elements, but also anything that we might have inside.The cover is also going to provide us with some more security, because obviously it'll be covering the bed, which will be covering any items that we have inside, which will keep them out of sight, out of mind.Also, when used in conjunction with a tailgate lock, our bed will be completely inaccessible. Now, if you need a tailgate lock, you can pick one up on etrailer.com.If we need to fold our cover up, it's really easy. Just open up our tailgate, and we'll undo the two latches here in the rear.Just pull it out, and fold it up like that. more

You are gonna be able to see the cross tube down below the bumper as well as the receiver here at the back. It's a class three two inch by two inch receiver. Pop and Lock Custom Tailgate Lock Installation - 2017 Honda Ridgeline- Video
Today in our 2017 Honda Ridgeline, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock. Our Pop & Lock Tailgate Lock is going to allow us to keep all our cargo and our tailgate secure whenever you use it with a camper shell or a tonneau cover. And the nice thing about it is that it's going to wire directly into our truck's wiring, so we can simply just take our key fob and every time we lock our vehicle it's going to lock the tailgate as well. The lock is going to install inside of our tailgate behind the handle here, that way it will prevent anybody from tampering with it, but at the same time it's going to keep that nice clean OEM look. RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Honda Ridgeline- Video
Today we have 2019 Honda Ridge Line and we're going to be doing a test fit on the RockyMounts BackStage 2 Bike Platform Rack, which is part number RKY100002. Now right away, one of the features that you might have liked about your Ridge Lines is that the tailgate can swing away from the side rather than opening from the top. So, if I show you the tilt away feature of this bike rack, which is just pulling on this latch, we can tilt it away like so. We do have access to open up our tailgate all the way without it making contact. You can see it comes close, but it doesn't quite make contact with the bike rack. But if we try to use this feature right here where our tail gate can swing away, it's going to make contact right there, and you have a good amount of space to try to get in and grab stuff, but you don't have full access to the bed of your truck.So, this bike rack can accommodate for that. more

Access Tonneau Cover Manufacturer Installation - 2017 Honda Ridgeline- Video
Speaker 1: Remove three bolts on each side wall of the box with a torques wrench. Test fit the side rail on the inside lip of the box. Push the side rail forward until it touches the front of the box, and adjust it flush and level with the top of the box. Clean inside edge of box rails with alcohol pad. Position the side rail tight against the front of the box, and flush with the box rail. Work from front to rear of the box.Next, position the front bracket with narrow slot towards the box wall. more

Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2017 Honda Ridgeline- Video
Today in our 2017 Honda Ridgeline, we'll be installing the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller. Part number 90195. To ease our installation we'll be using the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers, part number 3070-P. Now the reason you want a brake controller is if you have a trailer that has electric trailer brakes and your vehicle doesn't have a brake controller, you won't be able to use those trailer brakes. When you have a brake controller installed you'll be able to take advantage of those trailer brakes and be able to slow down your trailer a lot more efficiently and putting less strain on your vehicle's brakes. Also, in some areas of the country, they do require functioning trailer brakes on trailers over a certain load, so that's just something to keep in mind. Today on our 2012 Honda RidgeLine, we're going to review and install the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock, part number PAL6100. Here's what our Pop & Lock looks like once it's installed. Now let's go ahead and review the features. As we can see, the lock cylinder fits nicely inside the handle bezel and integrates well with the manufacturer's tailgate and handle. The lock assembly is going to come with two keys and it has both the unlock and lock so it'll provide security and not allow our tailgate to come down when it's locked up. Therefore, we can safely store equipment in the back of our RidgeLine. Now, on the inside we have our cover removed so we can see the Pop & Lock mechanism. more

WeatherTech Front Floor Mats Review - 2006 Honda Ridgeline- Video
2006 Honda Ridge line we'll be installing and taking a look at the weather tech front auto floor mats in gray. Part number W2460501. Also available in tan are number WT450501, or in black for number WT440501. As you can see, the weather tech auto floor mats have a nice contour here, depth in the contours of the vehicle go all the way around here on the passenger side. It has raised side walls, that's going to keep all the moisture and dirt and debris that can get trapped into the vehicle on the mat and off your carpet. It features nice channels here that your feet will actually sit up on and all the moisture will run off of the channels to keep your feet out of it. It's made out of a rubberized thermal plastic material, that's going to resist any harsh chemical such as gasoline or battery acid and it's going to give a nice grip for your feet. Here on the passenger side, you would get to use one of the factory anchor points so it's going to help hold the mat in place. more

WeatherTech Sunroof Wind Deflector Review - 2012 Honda Ridgeline- Video
Today our 2012 Honda Ridgeline. We are going to review an install, the WeatherTech Sunroof Wind Deflector part number WT89103. Now, with the wind deflector installed, once we are traveling, especially at highway speeds, this is going to send that wind up and over the sunroof, so it's going to reduce that wind noise inside when our sunroof is open. Here on the inside, the wind deflector as got a nice tint, so it will deflect for many excessive sun rays that might be coming in at us and with the wind visor installed it will not interfere with the operation of our sunroof, whether that be with the sunroof open, closed, or in the tilt position. There's closed, let's go to open, close again and the tilt position is the back end goes up. Now yo begin our install, we've already got out sunroof open. We are going to set out wind deflector in place. We are going to make sure it's even on both sides and square to the sunroof. Now, our wind deflector is going to have two attachment points, these attachment points are pre-drilled holes, one for each side. more
