Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner Installation - 2002 Coachmen Cross Country Motorhome- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look at installing the Furrion Chill HE Replacement AC unit on a 2002 Coachmen Cross Country. This is gonna be a great replacement for an AC unit that you already have and it's gonna work with a few different types of distribution boxes, include Advent, Coleman, as well as Dometic. Now we did find that we had to use a separate distribution box specifically for this HE unit, but it does drop in nice and easy. The HE in the name stands for high efficiency, so this is gonna cool, nice and efficiently. It can be used with a ducted or a ductless system. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Furrion Chill HE replacement air distribution box on a 2002 Coachman cross country. This distribution box is specifically designed for the Chill HE. It does work with a few different models of Furrion AC units. This was a great addition for our Furrion Chill HE AC unit that we put on here because the air distribution box allows us to get just some new hardware in there, make sure that it's nice and sealed up. But also, it allowed us to bolt up directly to the AC unit where the factory one that we had in here previous wasn't going to line up. Now a few different features on here, you do have two different vents that you can adjust. more

Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain Tow Bar Installation - 2018 Coachmen Prism Motorhome- Video
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2018 Coachman Prism Motorhome we're gonna be checking out the Roadmaster Nighthawk Tow Bar. Before we jump right in and start talking about the tow bar I figured it'd be useful just to kind of touch base and refresh yourselves on the main parts that we're gonna need to flat to our vehicle down the road in the first place. There's gonna be a total of five main components that you're gonna need. First one's gonna be the base plate and what that's gonna do is provide us with a solid and reliable connection point. That way we can hook our tow bar up to it. more

Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer and today I'm gonna be showing you how to install the Go Power RV Converter and Smart Battery Recharger here on our 2002 Coachmen Cross Country Motorhome. A converter charger is going to convert the AC current that comes from the offshore power line or from your generator, and then it's gonna convert that down to DC power so that you can charge your batteries while you're at the campsite or at your house, and then also run those DC appliances without draining the battery all the way down. If you look at the side of your converter, you're gonna see that there's these little fuses in here and there's these little screws next to it. If you ever have to replace any of these, you're gonna need to make sure that you loosen up those screws, that'll allow you to pop out the fuse and put the new one in. And then you'll wanna retighten those screws, but you don't want to over-tighten them. And what these fuses are are your reverse battery polarity protection, so that's going to protect you in the event that you hook up the battery incorrectly. more

Hey guys, Kevin here at etrailer. And today I'll be showing you how to install the Voyager passenger side camera here on our 2011 Coachmen Freelander Class C Motorhome. This side camera's gonna help improve your visibility and minimize blind spots that you typically would have whenever you're trying to back up your big bulky motor home. It's going to give you 154 degree viewing angle. The lens that's over the actual camera lens itself is rubber and it's gonna help prevent any scratches or other damage from ruining the view that you have. This camera's gonna come with a CMOS sensor that's going to create a high quality digital video in full color to make things a little bit easier. more

Hey guys, Kevin at etrailer and today I'm gonna be showing you how to install the Valterra Bladex single valve with hub to hub fittings here on our 2011 Coachman Freelander Class C motor home. This single waste valve is really easy to use. All you have to do is simply pull your handle out. Once that's out, it releases the blade into this section of it and allows water to pass through our pipes down to our other valve. And then when we're done with that, we can go ahead and simply push it in. Now if you do have issues trying to get down to this, you can also switch over to our cable-actuated ones. more

Valterra Double RV Waste Valves Installation - 2011 Coachmen Freelander Motorhome- Video
Hey guys, Kevin here at etrailer and today I'll be showing you how to replace the double waste valve on your 2011 Coachmen Freelander Class C Motorhome. This double waste valve is gonna come with two easy to use levers. You can easily pull that open, close it up, it's gonna close that valve up. They can easily be swapped out. If you just go ahead and pull those bolts from the old one instead of having to cut off pipes, add in extra fittings and glue it all together. Now obviously if your fittings or your pipes next to it are kind of damaged, then you will want to fully do it and swap it over, but this should be a really, really easy setup for you. more

Blue Ox Alpha 2 Tow Bar Installation - 2018 Coachmen Mirada Motorhome- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Blue Alpha 2 tow bar on a 2018 Coachmen Mirada. Now this tow bar is gonna be great for your etrailer, Demco or Blue Ox base plates and you can actually get adaptable arms for the base plate of your road master to work with this as well. Now there's five main components when flat towing a vehicle, and starting on the vehicle side, you're going to have your base plate and that's simply going to attach to the frame or the bumper support of the vehicle to give us dirty connection point for your tow bar to connect. Now on your base plate, a lot of times you're also gonna have your safety chain loop integrated as well. So the next point that we need is our tow bar and that's gonna be the connection point between that base plate and the hitch on the RV. Now you're also gonna have those safety cables like I mentioned before, with your safety chain loops here, and these are gonna criss-cross under here to the RV hitch, and that way, in case of an accidental disconnect, you still have these cables holding onto the vehicle. more

With this particular kit, it's going to come with all the stuff that you need to get just your motor home side set up to be able to tow a vehicle that has the Air Force One Braking System. So this is kind of a special circumstance almost, if you're looking for the complete package, the motor home side, as well as the vehicle side, we do carry that. So check into that, if that's what you're looking for, but there's a few scenarios that I can personally think of on where this kit would come into play. more

Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar Installation - 2015 Coachmen Mirada Motorhome- Video

Today on your 2015 Coachmen Mirada, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install a Roadmaster's rear anti-sway bar, and this is what our sway bar looks like when it's installed. The Roadmaster rear sway bar is designed to work in conjunction with your factory sway bar. This is our factory sway bar located here just on the other side of the axle. You can kind of see it dipping down just a little bit right here. What's great about this kid is that we get to keep all the benefits that the factory sway bar gives us, but we get to add additional anti-sway onto it by putting another bar here just behind the axle. more

This camera system has a seven-inch full color display and is designed to work with RVs and trailers that are pre wired with the Voyager WIsight technology. There are 14 infrared LEDs on the camera to help out with night time vision and it has a durable metal construction to protect it against damage. And it's also waterproof. MORryde Stock Leaf Spring Suspension X-Factor Dropdown Crossmember Install - Travel Trailer- Video
Hey guys, Kevin here from etrailer, and today I'm gonna be showing you how to install the Morryde X-Factor Crossmember System for Leaf Spring Suspensions on our 2019 Coachmen Apex Ultra-Lite. So the MORryde X-Factor Crossmember is actually going to help sure up your frame because a lot of frames on trailers nowadays are a lot thinner than they used to be so that they can give you that ultralight weight capacity here. So they take that out of something and that's gonna come out of your frame. So what this does is it's going to make a cross member going straight across from this beam over to your other beam, and sure up the beam so that you lose that body roll and that kinda stress, that you'll get back and forth with your frame as you're making tight turns, or when you're pulling down a highway with a semi going by you, or if it's just a really windy day like it is today. So while this installation is not that difficult it is very time consuming. You do have to have the right jacks to hold up your trailer, and you're gonna have to be under it. more

Hi there Coachman owners. Today in your 2021 Coachman Spirit Ultra Light, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install REDARC's 50 Watts solar panel kit. Here you can see our solar panel installed on top. This is a 50 watt panel and it is a monocrystalline panel, which is the preferred style for efficiency. There's two different types of solar panels, you got your monocrystalline and your polycrystalline. Your monocrystalline typically has a higher wattage value at a smaller footprint than your polycrystalline one. more

Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar Installation - 2019 Coachmen Pursuit Motorhome- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at the Roadmaster rear anti-sway bar on our 2019 Coachmen Pursuit. So before having the rear sway bar installed, we're gonna take this out on our test course and see what we're kinda looking at as far as not having a sway bar installed and later we're gonna come back and take a look with it installed, to see the difference. Now, we're gonna go over a few bumps which, with the sway bar, you're really not gonna notice too much of a difference. It might tighten the suspension up a little as it goes over maybe, off centered bumps, but as far as like your straight speed bumps shouldn't really cause an issue because as the rear sway bar moves up and down, it's not really affecting it too much. Now, I've installed sway bars before on vehicles. more

Using a cover like this for your roof vent is actually going to allow you to use that roof vent how you actually want to. Without a cover, you really have to pay attention to make sure you put them vents back down when you're traveling. Can't really open them up when it's raining outside or anything like that 'cause you get water pouring through and everything else. So having a cover on there, it's gonna do a few things. more

I'm gonna walk ya through how to install the wheel master valve stem extenders. Valve stem extenders on a motor home, make it much easier if you're trying to add pressure, decrease pressure in your tires. Valve stem extenders are going to be great for extending your valve stems out to make them a lot more accessible. Let's face it on a motor home we have these nice caps on, but the valve stems kind of sit back inside the hole a little bit. more

Hi there camper owners. Today in your 2021 Coachmen Apex Ultra Lite, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Dexter's tandem-axle equalizer and wet bolt kit. This equalizer kit is going to be a direct replacement for your factory parts, but it does come included with upgraded heavy-duty hardware. You can see our bolts are wet bolts, so you get the grease zerks in the ends, which allows you to lubricate the hardware, so it lasts a lot longer. And our shackles here that it comes with are significantly thicker on this kit than your standard ones. That's just also going to help increase the life of those components. more

Hi there campers today in your 2021 Coachmen Apex Ultra-Lite, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Road Armor's Tandem Axle Equalizer Set. And here we can see what our equalizer looks like when it's installed. You can see it's significantly larger, and it gets its road armor name from its shape. It's almost shaped kind of like a shield, and all this additional steel here is going to be a much more durable equalizer than your factory one. And you can see these rubber bumpers that's located inside. And what this does is like your old equalizer here, you can see it has no dampening whatsoever. more

Hi there Coachmen owners. Today on your 2021 Coachman Apex Ultra-Lite, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Optronics' replacement taillight assemblies. We're going to be replacing both the driver and passenger side. On our driver's side, our license plate was not on this side, so we're using the Optronics light that has the included bracket. Both of them are going to wire up exactly the same way, and they're both going to have almost all the same features. The only difference between the two is you have the bracket for your license plate, as well as a light down below to illuminate the license plate, keeping you DOT compliant in all states. more

Hi there, trailer owners. Today on your 2021 Coachmen Apex Ultra-Lite, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Roadmaster's Comfort Ride shock-absorbing system. They connect between brackets that are mounted on top of your axle, here on the leaf spring stack, as well as brackets that are attached directly to the frame. With our shock in this location, you can see that when our suspension travels upward, it would compress our shock, dampening the forces that we get on the road. You'll also notice that it is angled slightly towards the center here on our equalizer. Because our axle's here with the equalizer, they do kind of work in conjunction with one another, so having the shocks at an angle like this does help out with dampening, the transfer of that motion from one axle to another, which overall reduces all that road force from reaching inside the cabin of the trailer.The angle that's best for these is a 20 to 40 degree angle, and you do have the option to choose where you put those here on the frame. more

Hi there Coachmen owners, today in your 2017, Coachmen Leprechaun, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Roadmasters steering stabilizer. So before we install our steering stabilizer, we're just going to get a baseline on how our motor home drives. So we're going to go ahead and hit our test course here. And we're going to start in the uneven bump section, and this is going to simulate hitting a pothole. And you can see here already when we hit these potholes it wants to kind of jerk our steering wheel around a little bit and I'm sure you're used to that out there on the road at home driving it.Next, we're going to be heading into our even bump section. And this is going to be simulating a parking garage, or maybe just pulling into your driveway if you've got a little hump there, and with this, you're not going to notice it too much unless you're coming at it at an angle. more

Before we install our sway bar, we're going to hit our test course and we're just going to get a baseline on how our motor home feels. Hi there Coachmen owners, today in your 2020 Coachmen Mirada Select, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Roadmaster's charge line kit. This 12 volt charge line kit is going to provide you with the necessary wiring to have a charge line on your seven way connector. Your standard seven way is already going to have this here, but many of your motor homes don't come with a fully operational seven way connector. This is just the one circuit for the charge line circuit, which is necessary on some of your braking systems and also necessary if you want to charge the battery on your vehicle when you're flat towing it down the road. If you're going to haul any trailers with you as well, and you have batteries on those trailers, you'll want a charge line on there, especially if they have brakes. That'll keep the battery topped up on the trailer in the event that you do have a breakaway situation, that battery can be fully charged to apply the brakes.Our Mirada here didn't come from the factory with a fully functional seven way, so we had to add that additional wire for our Brake Buddy stealth braking system to work on our flat tow setup here. more

Now an anti-sway bar is definitely going to help out with that really soft feeling we get when we're driving our motor home. Driving down the road.. And let's face it, we've got a lot of area for the wind to catch, it's really big, kind of top heavy.So, when we do have a big vehicle drive by or a crosswind, it ends up pushing us and we get that top heavy swing feeling. more
