Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer. And today we'll be showing you how to install the Solera RV slide out awning here on our 2019 crossroads sunset trail travel trailer. As you can see on our slide out there's a lot of grime built up on here which could have easily been blocked by our awning. A lot of the times when you have your awning out if you're anywhere near a tree or anything like that you're gonna have leaves all kinds of bugs, anything like that, dropping down on top of your awning your slide out seals do a pretty good job at negating most of that, and kind of wiping it off as your slide out goes in. But for the most part this is all gonna be inside your camper. So this is gonna contribute to mold and mildew growing inside of your camper, which you can easily just block with your awning. more

Today on our 2019 Crossroads Trail Travel Trailer, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Fastway E2 weight distribution system with sway control. One of the common problems that you run into whenever you're pulling a trailer or camper, that's kind of pushing the limits of your vehicle is the vehicle performance, right You hook up your trailer, the back end squats down a bunch. And what that's gonna do, does this affect your overall performance I'm sure if you're watching this, you can probably relate to that, right Affecting your tire wear, just your overall ride quality, your braking and steering performance, just your vehicle and whole, just your whole vehicle in general, rather, right And so, especially too, you start getting a camper like this or an enclosed trailer or something along them lines, you know, it catches wind. It starts swaying, blowing you all over the road and it's just unpleasant. And so you can do something to help correct, or minimize that problem. more

Adding snap pads like this onto your camper, one, is gonna make it a lot easier when you get to your campsite. These are gonna be constructed out of a very durable rubber, they're actually made out of recycled tires. And what that is, is it's a small fiber that's inside of here, and it will absorb any of the battery acids. So that makes it completely spill proof. And that fine fiberglass mat, its main purpose is, again, to make it spill proof, which makes it so these batteries can be shipped without hazardous material restrictions. more

They're available in a raw finish or a dichromate finish. The kit comes with a full setup for one axle. So if you have multiple axles on your trailer, you can pick up as many kits as you need.Disc brakes are going to give you superior performance over your typical drum brakes that come on your trailer. Hi there fifth wheel owners. Today on your 2019 Crossroads Redwood, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Hydrastar's 1600 PSI Hydraulic Brake Actuator. This kit comes with the actuator as well as all of the lines we'll need for our tandem axle trailer. As well as a breakaway battery and breakaway switch. We just got done converting over our trailer from its electric drum brakes to hydraulic disc brakes. We need a very high amount of pressure to operate our disc brakes on our trailer, which is why we want the 1600 PSI that's available in our actuator up there, to ensure that we can properly get enough pressure to operate our disc brake system. more

etrailer Trailer Brake Bearing Kit Installation - 2019 CrossRoads Redwood Fifth Wheel- Video
Hi there Fifth Wheel Owners. Today on your 2019 Crossroads Redwood, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Etrailer's Bearing Kit for 13" rotors with an 8 X 6.5 Bolt Pattern. We just got done installing a disc brake setup on our trailer here and this is a great opportunity to replace your bearings. You're going to have to remove your old ones to install the new disc brake kit. Now, in this particular case, our bearings we're the same number, so we could have potentially reused them but it's not really recommended to reuse your old bearings as the races for the outer race for both of our bearings are pre-installed inside of our rotor and the old bearings are worn already to match the races that are in your old hubs. So if you try to put those in here, it could potentially cause them to prematurely wear because they're not matched.Being able to use a new set of bearings with new races is going to allow them to break in and properly wear with each other. more

Solera Standard Awning Roller and Fabric Installation - 2010 CrossRoads Cruiser Fifth Wheel- Video
Today in this 2010 Four Cruiser Crossroads Fifth Wheel, we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Solera 14 foot sand fade RV awning roller and fabric, part number LCV000223179 in conjunction with the Solera universal awning support for RVs with 12 volt power, part number LC434722. To ease our install, we'll also be using the Camco white butyl tape part number CAM25013. Here we are at our campsite with our Fifth Wheel. We got here and we found out that our powered awning won't come down, it doesn't work anymore, which is terrible since it's really hot and bright day. And before the awning itself broke, we had holes in it too. So it wasn't the best situation when it was raining. more

Speaker 1: Today we're in a 2018 Crossroads Zinger Travel Trailer. We're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Maxxfan Deluxe Roof Vent with 12 volt fan, part number MA00-06401K.So here's what our Maxxfan Deluxe roof vent with fan looks like once we have it installed. Now, this is going to allow all that stale hot air to escape out the room so we can enjoy our time inside of our toy hauler, not to mention having all those fumes when we have our toys inside, getting them a space to escape. Our fans going to have a total of four different speeds. And with a simple push of a button right here on the top of the fan, we can cycle it through. And even with the fan on high, it's still relatively quiet to where we can hold a conversation without really having to get loud.If we come over to the other side, we'll have this turn knob here where we can manually open or close the lid so we can either let air exhaust out or if we close it while the fan's still going, the fan will go into ceiling fan mode and it's going to push the air down, and it's going to circulate the air inside a lot better.The fan itself is going to have a 12 inch diameter and 10 blades on it. more
