Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Red Art Plug and Play Wiring Harness for the Tow Pro Trailer Brake Controllers. This wiring adapter eases the installation of your Red Art Tow Pro Classic or Elite Brake Controller.On this end we have the custom connector end that plugs into the port beneath your vehicle's dash and then on this end we have the end that plugs into the Tow Pro Electric Brake Controller. Now, this will plug directly into the Tow Pro Elite, but if you're using this on the Classic, then some wire splicing is required.Also, all the wires are protected by a protective mesh. So it keeps the wires bundled together. That way they don't hang below or get down near the pedals or hang loose around your feet. Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Redarc brake controller on a 2017 Cadillac Escalade. Now there's two different configurations of the Redarc brake controller available and it's really gonna be dependent on how many axles your trailer has that you plan on towing. If you have one to two axles, you're gonna want to go with Tow-Pro Liberty. Now if you have three axles, you're gonna wanna step that up to the Tow-Pro Elite. I think the best part about the Redarc brake controller and I recommend it to a lot of people because it has such a small real estate here, you get all the same functions of a normal brake controller and you may say, "Well, it doesn't have a screen like one," and you don't really need that screen. You can still adjust your gain just by turning the knob here. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the REDARC Tow-Pro Liberty, which is gonna be a great brake controller on a 2017 Ford F-150. If you plan on pulling a trailer with trailer brakes, you are gonna need a brake controller on your vehicle, and if you don't have a factory one, adding a brake controller is very easy to do. And traditionally, you probably know the ones that kind of mount here under the dash, and you've probably hit your knees on them before. Well, REDARC's done a really good job of making a very functional, proportional braking system, all in a small package that gives you a nice clean OEM look. Now using REDARC's custom wiring harness, we we're able to get this installed, plug and play, no splicing of wires, and it's super easy to do, and it may seem like it's small, and doesn't have a readout screen like some of your other brake controllers, but not to worry, this works great. In fact, you can adjust your gain just at the turn of a knob. more

Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller Installation - 2023 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the REDARC Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller on a 2023 Hyundai Palisade. Now, choosing a brake controller for your vehicle, when you plan on towing a trailer with brakes, normally you're probably used to ones that are pretty large and they mount up and you hit your knees on them every time you come in. And that's where the REDARC really changes the game. You have such a small switch that it keeps it pretty well OEM looking and you can really have the customization to mount wherever you want, but you get all the usability of a brake controller at the push of a button. Your manual override is a simple push of a button and as you adjust your gain, the colors will also change when you have your trailer hooked up, but that's how you adjust how intense the brakes are gonna be coming on. The rest of the brake controller is all hidden away, so the brains of the operation isn't visible, so you get all the usability with just that small little switch that you'll see. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty brake controller on a 2021 Hyundai Palisade. When adding a brake controller to a vehicle that tows a trailer with brakes is a great idea, it just makes it easier to tow and if you start to get that sway you can even it out with a nice manual override. And also you can have proportional braking, so when you're applying the brakes on the vehicle, it'll proportionally add that to the trailer, bringing it to a slower stop. The downside, a lot of times that you think of with brake controllers is hitting your knees as you get in. Your traditional brake controller is normally mounted somewhere into the dash and newer cars are just getting harder to find that spot without smacking your knees on it. And overall they're just pretty clunky and Redarc's really done a fine job of eliminating that large piece and keeping the footprint nice and small and looking OEM. more

Brake controls are really nice because it'll slow our trailer down and keep us from wearing out the brakes on our vehicle and it's a little bit safer because if that trailer pushes and we have to slam on our brakes hard, it could be catastrophic.Now this is a very simple kit to install and it looks really nice in our vehicle. We're not going to be hitting our knee on it and it's going to look really nice on our dash. This is the only part of our brake controller actually visible and a lot of them are a big box that we have to mount down here and when you're getting in or out, it's really common to knock your knees on them, knock them out of alignment and it's an eyesore in the cab of the vehicle. more

Now, this is what our brake controller looks like when it's installed and you can see, it takes up very little real estate. And in fact, we're able to find a nice little pocket here and it's gonna be super accessible for the driver to actually adjust and manually override on the brakes. And that's gonna be really great because normal brake controllers kinda sit down here where your knees are, and generally you just kinda bump them when getting in and then sometimes reaching down to actually do the manual override can kinda be cumbersome. And that's the great part about the Redarc is small space but also very easy to use. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look and installing the Redarc Liberty Brake Controller on a 2024 Subaru Outback. Our neighbor today has a Subaru Outback, and they tow a trailer that does have brakes on it. And so to keep that trailer from pushing the Subaru around on the road, having a brake controller is going to be key. And when it comes to brake controllers predominantly, you probably think of something that mounts up underneath the dash, and that you can hit your knees on, and in trucks, those work out fine, 'cause generally, the dash is a little bit higher. But on something like this, there's not a whole lot of room, and it's gonna be getting in the way. And that's where the Redarc really comes into play. more

Hi there Subaru owners. Today on your 2020 Subaru Outback Wagon we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Redarc's Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller. This comes in two different options. You can purchase it with or without the connector harness. I highly recommend that you get the connector harness because you're pretty much going to need it to be able to plug into the brake controller, and it gives you a nice pigtail to make all of your connections. In addition, if you only have a functioning 4-pole at the back, you're going to need a properly functioning seven way, which we can upgrade and get everything we need to get our brake controller installed using kit ETBC7 here at etrailer.And this is what our brake controller looks like when it's installed. more

Normally, when you think of brake controllers, you're thinking of a module that kinda hangs down, tends to get in the way sometimes of knees or legs while driving. Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller on a 2023 Toyota 4Runner. Now this is what the REDARC looks like when it's installed and compared to a lot of your traditional brake controllers that you see mounted up on a dash that you inevitably hit your knees on, the REDARC really does a fantastic job of making it look like an OEM brake controller. As you can see, even with this factory knockout plate the button matches all of the controls here. It's hidden out of the way, but it's still super accessible and equally as usable as any other brake controller. Just like any other brake controller you can pick between two modes. You can have it to where it's user controlled or you can have it proportional to the braking pretty easy. more

And essentially what this means is it's going to apply a force to our trailer brakes proportional to what it is in the vehicle here. So for example, say we just need to come to a light stop. We're just going to be barely pressing on the brake pedal on our vehicle here. more

Hi everyone. Aiden here with Etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and be showing you how to install the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty Brake Controller on our 2018 Toyota Highlander. So this is going to be a proportional brake controller capable of towing a trailer or applying brakes on one to two axles. This is gonna be one of the most low profile systems out there because the only thing you see is this dial. You've got a manual override here that you can push the button in to apply the brakes or if you lightly touch the brakes in your Highlander, it'll lightly apply the brakes in your trailer and vice versa if you slam on them. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty trailer brake controller here on a 2017 Toyota Sequoia. So, one of the biggest standout features here of the Redarc brake controller, is what it looks like when it's installed on your vehicle. Now, normally with our traditional brake controller, you're not only gonna be drilling into your dash you're gonna be taking up some of that vital leg room, getting in and out. A lot of people like to refer to those controllers as knee-knockers, and that's our traditional style break controller, it's rather large and clunky. Now with the Redarc, we're not gonna have any of those same issues because most everything is actually gonna be installed behind the dash. The only thing we can see is a small little control knob, and you can see it only sticks out around a half inch or so from your dash here, so you're not taking up much space whatsoever and it looks pretty much factory for you ask me. more
