How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Saris SuperClamp EX on our 2022 Chevrolet Equinox. A wheel-mounted bike carrier is gonna come in handy for you when you're looking for something that's not gonna make any contact with your frame. So there's no hook here on your top tube. You're just gonna have a hook on the front and rear that's gonna allow you to carry those carbon fiber bikes, bike that you just have a nice paint job and you don't want a contact to, or those unconventional frame bikes, like a step-through bike, for example. Another really cool feature, it's gonna allow you to have access to your cargo area. Yeah, kind of, I didn't want the push, but it's actually a lever that you pull, and it gives you a pretty decent tilt that's gonna allow you to get the hatch all the way open so you can get to the back of your Equinox pretty well. more

Now, even though this is a roof-mounted bike rack, we're gonna be talking more so today about the compatibility with platform racks. As you can see here, I've got it mounted onto my Front Runner bed rack. It was a great fit. There's a couple different ways that you can mount it on a lot of other racks, but specifically on the Front Runner rack, you will have to use the bar mounts. more

Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack Installation - 2022 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Carrier on our 2022 Chevrolet Equinox. The NV 2.0 is a wheel-mounted bike carrier. So what that means is that the main support for the bike is gonna be this hook on the front wheel, and you have a strap on the rear cradle. That's gonna allow you to secure your bike without having any contact to the top tube. Essentially what that's gonna work best for is gonna be bikes that have carbon fiber frames or unconventional frames like step-through bikes. I'm gonna push the lever in here, and we're gonna tilt our carrier to check out the access to our cargo hatch with our bikes loaded. more

Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2024 Hyundai Venue- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver on a 2024 Hyundai Venue. This is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Venue and it is gonna be an exposed cross tube, meaning you're gonna see a good portion of the hitch hanging down on the fascia, but this car does hit relatively low so you're really not gonna see a whole lot unless you're directly behind. And you do have a inch and a quarter inch receiver tube opening. And this is a class one hitch and generally, you're gonna find those on smaller vehicles, things that really aren't designed to tow trailers. Now that's not to say you can't do that with this, I personally have an inch quarter on my car that I use for a bike rack, you can also put a cargo carrier on there, and I can pull a small kayak trailer if necessary. And our neighbor today is gonna be using it to take the trash to the dump site at the RV site that way they don't have to use their camper. more

Thule Epos Bike Rack for 2 Bikes Review - 2023 Kia Seltos - TH99XE- Video
Hi everyone. I'm Evangeline here at etrailer and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Thule Epos 2-bike rack without the lights, and we're gonna see how it fits here on our 2023 Kia Seltos. The Epos is pretty popular because it's a more lightweight bike rack, it has wheels to make it easy to maneuver and then make it easy to install into the hitch of your Kia Seltos. Another thing to it is that whether you have the inch and a quarter hitch or the two inch hitch receiver, this is gonna fit into it. Now, please hopefully you do have a two-inch hitch receiver, so you can maximize the weight capacity of this rack, which is 140 pounds for two bikes with a single pound weight capacity of 75 if you're only carrying one bike. And the way it holds onto that bike is at different points around the bike that makes the most sense for you and how it's built. more

Hey, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Yakima OnRamp LX Bike Rack and how it fits here on our 2024 Kia Carnival. This is actually gonna be my first look at this bike rack, so we get to take a look at it together right off the bat. I definitely see this as useful for if you need to carry extra heavy bikes here with your Carnival. This does include a ramp that's attached to the rack, hence the name "OnRamp." So for those heavier bikes, if you don't wanna be lifting them up and onto the rack, this is gonna work out for you. And this does have a maximum weight capacity of 80 pounds, which is awesome because electric brakes seems to be getting heavier and heavier. more

Now, this ring terminal is used for all types of electrical work where wires need fastening to a stud. Usually connects to the end of a bare wire to give a better electrical connection to apply to when you install this onto the stud. Now, this part here is designed to attach a 12 or 10 gauge size wire to a stud size of 3/16 of an inch diameter. Basically, the bare wire is what is inserted into the sleeve of the terminal, and then it's secured by crimping down on it to hold it into place. more

Hello, neighbors. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at our Dexter Fortress Bolt-On Aluminum Oil Cap for 9K to 12K Dexter Axles. Now, folks, this does replace the Bolt-On Oil Cap and the gasket and the plug for your Dexter Axles that are 9K to 12K. It's got a nice retainer ring that's gonna shield the clear viewing lens against damage, and that nice plug there in the center, but also, what I like, it's got a nice threaded plug here on the side, and that's for filling and emptying the oil as needed. Now, this whole thing is cast aluminum, and it can technically double as a grease cap as well if you need it to. more

Now, this system here will improve the suspension, the handling, and safety of your vehicle. Now, this system does become more rigid as more weight is added, helps increase stability, provides great performance while hauling heavy loads, and it'll even reduce vehicle sag.
