Review of Optronics Off Road Lights UCL22CB

Speaker 1: Today we're gonna take a look at the Optronics LED off road light bar, with the mixed beam pattern. Now this LED light bar will give you high-quality light output from two rows of 30 LED, and the LEDs have a 200,000 hour lifespan. Now this light will deliver a bright, mixed beam, which is ideal for off road driving. Has a flood beam, and that would be the 20 here and the 20 over here. That's your flood beam, that's great for seeing out in front of you and off to both sides. Right in the middle would be the 20 spot beams, which is great for seeing at a distance. If you notice on the back of the bar, it has channeled fins on the housing, which will let the heat quickly dissipate to optimize the LED performance.

There's a durable, water resistant construction. Has a nice black powder coat dye cast aluminum housing, which is rust-proof, and a tough polycarbonate lens, which is impact resistant. It is IP 65 rated for protection against dust and moisture. It is compatible with 20 volt DC and 24 volt DC systems, and it's a very easy installation. They give you the universal mounting seat to provide a nice, sturdy base.

Comes with the rubber padding on the feet that goes right under there when you attach it to your vehicle. Helps prevent scratches on the mounting surface.Has a 16-inch long 16-gauge power lead and ground wire, and then all the mounting hardware and Allen key all included to install it. A few specs on this, the light output, the raw lumen output is 12,600 lumens, and the effective lumen output is 6,777 lumens. Again, there are 60 diodes, 180 watts, the power draw at 12.8 volts DC is 9.8 amps at 24 volt DC is 5.7 amps. Overall dimension on this is 33 inches long, about three and a quarter inches tall, and about three and a half inches deep. What I'm gonna do now is we're gonna hook this up to a 12 volt power source, just to try to show you the light bar.

We're gonna turn off the overhead lights to see how bright it is. What we'll do is we'll go ahead and take the wire lead right here, the black wire will be your ground. We'll go ahead and hook that to the ground. Here we go. Then the power wire would be your red wire.

We'll go ahead and hook that up. Now we'll go ahead and turn off the overhead lights and turn on the power. With the power on, you can see the very bright lights, and actually if you look at it, you can sort of see the very middle, the 20 LEDs in the middle, are the spot beams. That's why they're a lot brighter, it's for the distance. Then over here, the 20 over here and 20 on the other end are for the flood beams, which is great for out, front, and into the sides. Turn that down a little bit just to show you on the table how bright it is.We'll go ahead and turn off the light, turn back on the overhead lights. That should do it for the review on the Optronics LED off road light bar, with the mixed beam pattern.
