This receiver fits well using the original mount points on my RAV4 Prime. It comes with everything needed to install it. Do watch install videos before starting the process, access to some fasteners is confined so choice of tools makes a difference.
Bought this for my 2025 Toyota Rav4. My previous vehicle (2013 Honda Odyssey) had an aftermarket hitch that scraped going up our somewhat steep driveway. After a few weeks with this hitch I have had zero problems scraping the driveway. It also works great for my 1-1/4" bike rack. I'm very pleased I didn't pay 5x as much to install the factory hitch.
VERY DIFFICULT to install - it took nearly 3 hours! Everything was do exactly as the instructions showed, except there was a problem. The distance between the two rails was narrower than the frame of the car, and as these are substantially built, welded steel components, the effort required to force the receiver into position was significant. With a floor jack, we could lift the receiver, but aligning the weld nuts with the machined holes on the rails proved nearly impossible; however, we managed to get 'er done. As many have mentioned, the packaging was not quite up to the job.
I have not opened the box yet but I am adding to the comments from others that the box arrived torn up with part of the hitch receiver sticking out.
Why hasn't a fix been done,like maybe reinforcement of the areas that are known to protrude out of the box or putting some hard plastic around those parts of the receiver. Thanks

Hitch was easy to install and fit perfectly. Note:Be sure to support exhaust with a strong strap because once hangers are removed the muffler and pipes are very heavy.
Solid product that my adult son and I easily installed just by rolling the back wheels up a ramp.
Just finished the install on my 2023 Rav 4 hybrid, looks great, I think I'm glad it went with it over Curt but I'm sure they're comparable. I installed it myself as a 43 year old guy with little mechanical experience, in my driveway with no lift or ramps, and while it's doable it's not for everyone. I would suggest a partner. Whether you have help or not, start by getting the jack out of your trunk if you have one and, once your rack is in position (guiding the wings around your exhaust on both sides is where a helper would really be handy), center the jack under the hitch to give it some height on a pivot while you get the bolts lined up. If you have extreme trouble with one particular bolt as I did, you may also find it handy to then move the jack to that end and lift it so as to align the hole in the hitch over your weldnut without having to rely on one arm's strength while you're fumbling with the bolt and turning a wrench with the other. Honestly if I had it to do over I'd probably take it down to a shop and pay them to throw it on. There are some out there that probably wouldn't even charge you, especially if you're a regular.

This hitch is holding up great with regular light usage carrying bike and cargo racks after one year.
Installed great, one bolt was difficult to start but knew that prior to installation. Packaging as in other reviews needs to be addressed box was broke open on end but everything was still there. Etrailer was great to deal with.
Great fit on a 2024 RAV4 Prime. Drop the muffler and it's an easy install.
I find the hitch easy to use for my bike rack and it was fairly easy to install. Its good deal for the money.
came right away and have great instructions and video to show.
verify my SUV and guarantee that it will fit.

Excellent. No issues. Use to carry my bike rack everywhere.
My 2nd order from etrailer. Will knew of the best inconspicuous hitch available for my Rav4 along with the trailer light kit. Fantastic customer service even asking if I needed anything else since my SUV was new. He mentioned a few things and I ended up ordering great mud guards that mounted up without tire removal. Between YouTube videos and printed instructions, we got the hitch, wiring and mud guards installed fairly quickly. A great experience and I will be back.
Boxes are beat up really bad and one box was vertually open, just thought I need to check to make sure the bolts are there. It would be nice to have them secured in the box better
The product arrived on schedule. I read the instructions and got my tools out. I ordered the exhaust hanger removal tool. This was a great less than $20 investment. I have never removed the hangers with such ease. Everything went as planned as I got the two top bolts into the hitch. Then there was a problem. The hook installed on my 2020 RAV4 did not allow the hitch to swing all the way up to put in the final two bolts. See the pictures. I had to go find the right socket and remove hook. Then I was able to complete the installation. The hitch cannot be installed with the factory hook on the passenger side. Hopefully I'll never need the hook. The hitch frame can probably serve the same purpose as it could be used to tie something down.
Well built and fits great on my 22' Rav4. Only complaint is the paint quality. Not sure if they used any primer, as some of the paint came off during shipping. Then some more came off where I rested the hitch on a jack to lift it into place when installing. I had to apply primer/paint to the bare metal to prevent rusting in the future.
Package was delivered beaten up causing the paint to flake off on the item delivered

Still working great. Fast to load and unload bikes, has more features than I realized. It folds up and down when the bikes are not on it. Plenty sturdy for our two bikes. Glad I bought it. Works. Bob

As others have said, the container was in rough condition but the receiver and parts were intact. The installation went exactly as shown in the etrailer video. I can use my boat again!

Everything has worked out well. As previously stated, the video made the installation a breeze.
Perfect fit.
We only received three of the four hitches that were supposed to have been delivered. This is exactly what happened to our previous order in July. The three boxes were in bad condition when received (same as before) and the boxes are stickers that said Box 2 of 4, Box 3 of 4, and Box 4 of 4. There was no Box 1 of 4. The condition of the three boxes tell me that Box 1 probably came apart and there would be nothing inside but the hitch to indicate where it should be shipped. I brought this to your attention before, but your boxes simply are not strong enough, without reinforcement, to mail hitches. The side plates of the hitch protrude when every hitch is delivered. The hitches themselves are great!

watched the video and ran wire exactly as shown. the lights and hitch have been working ever since.

It is doing just fine, no moving parts to break. I rust proofed inside with fluid film spray just to be safe.
