As the factory bed length on your truck is 62", I recommend placing the ladder racks 50" or so apart from one another. The knobs located on the brackets inside the bed rail will loosen to reposition the racks then tighten back down once you have them in their desired location. |

When you want to remove it, you can leave the base on and detach the rest, but it might be easier for you to remove the whole rack by loosening the knobs and sliding it out of the bed rails.
