This will require splicing into the factory wiring and you will have a drill a small hole for the control knob to sit on in your dash. The included wire harness will need to be wired in the following manner: Black - 12v power (battery) with inline fuse # 331-CBK30-EB White - ground Blue - run to the brake output pin on the back of the 7-way with some 10 gauge wire # 10-1-1 Red - Cold side of the brake light switch You can find the cold side of the brake light switch with a hook & probe tester # PTW2993 by testing each wire coming from the top of the brake pedal until you find the one that only has power when the pedal is depressed. |
