Can you lease let me know the shear strength rating for this pin. I tow apprx. 14K pounds and want the strongest pin available for a 2-1/2inch hitch. Thanks,

As far as the weight capacity/shear rating of the MaxxTow Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" and 2-1/2" Hitches # MT96FR, there is no weight rating on hitch pins/locks. Generally speaking, it will exceed the towing weight rating of your 2-1/2 inch hitch like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V # C96CR.
