Is Draw-Tite Ultra Hitch part 41990-16 an Adjustable Width Hitch for Motor Homes

Question:
Yes do the brackets slide on the crosstube so can you can ajust how wide your frame rails are then weld them . ? my motor-home fram rails are not 44 inches. it is a 1998 Ducth Star on a spartan frame with a 300 cummins motor. Thank you for your help .

The Class IV Weld-On 44 Inch Hitch, part # 41990-16 is not adjustable. However, we do carry such hitches.
You could use hitch part # 41991 if you need wider than 44 inches and if you need a more narrow setup, you could use part # 41990. You would then use either 7 inch tall hitch brackets part # 4907 or 16 inch tall brackets part # 4916, depending on far below the frame you need the hitch to sit.
