Question:
The front-mount hitch works great - was very easy to install and is almost invisible now. Actually, its completely invisible since we had to reinstall the front license plate got a ticket :- Ive tried to find a flip-downinch license plate holder so we can still access the hitch, but nothing seems to fit on the Excursion. What options do I have for putting the front license plate back on and still being able to use the hitch? Thanks!

Sorry to hear you got a ticket for the removed license plate on your 2000 Ford Excursion, but we may have an option that will work for you.
To solve this problem, we offer is the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch License Plate Holder, part # C31002. The license plate is mounted to the holder and then installed in the front receiver opening.
If you need a pin and clip to secure the holder to the hitch I recommend part # PC3. This includes the pin and clip. for a locking hitch pin I recommend part # e98880.
