4-Way Adapter and 7-way Recommendation for a 2003 Chevy Silverado

Want to convert the OEM 7 pin plug on my Silverado to a flat 4. Image 1 is the factory plug, image 2 is the Hopkins 47345. Am I missing something, or are they incompatible? If this wont work, can you advise the correct product? site wont accept 2nd imgae - you get the idea

The # 47345 that you referenced is designed to plug into an existing 7-way connector at the rear of a vehicle.
Based on the two pictures you submitted it looks like you unplugged your current 7-way from it's harness and are trying to plug the # 47345 directly to it. This won't work. To use this adapter you will need to put your 7-way back on the connector.
Another option that you might like even better would be to plug the harness you have into a # HM40975 as this will give you a 7-way and a 4-way. See install video to the right.
