I checked with Curt and receiver mount tow hook, # D-325, is limited by the gross trailer weight and tongue weight capacities of the trailer hitch it is being used with. It does not have a capacity of its own.
So if the hitch is rated for 5,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 500 pounds tongue weight then the Curt tow hook will be rated the same.
