Question:
I own a 2010 Ford Edge Limited and looking at the installation videos for the wiring harness, it does not show one for the 2010. When I click on it, it says invalid source. Also the hitch installation does not cover the 2010. Do I have a bad year model of this unit? What hitch and wiring harness do I need for my SUV or should I look elsewhere?

The video for the 2010 Ford Edge and wiring harness # 118551 is being fixed but it will be basically identical to the video for the 2009 which I have linked for you to the right.
We have not had a chance to install all of the hitches we have available for your vehicle on a 2010 model but the hitches fit a range of years of the Ford Edge because the platform is the same for all model years of that generation. So a video for a 2009 or 2011 for example would show the same process as it will be on a 2010.
The most popular hitch for the 2010 Ford Edge is Curt hitch # C13067. I have linked a video showing installation for you and the instructions.
If you plan on doing some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included to the right that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
