Is a Converter Needed to Tow an Amber Turn Signal Vehicle Behind an RV

97 Alegro has turn/brake lights in 1 bulb 4 wire out the dingy I pull 94 Ford Escort has right, left and seperate brake light. How do I wire this or do I need some kind of adaptor/converter so my lights work properly. Thank you so much for any help you can give.

A converter is not necessary. You can treat the Escort as though it does not have the amber turn signals. They will still function when you drive the Escort, but when you tow it behind the RV the system is simplified to the RV 4 Wire system.
There are wiring diagrams towards the bottom of the tow bar wiring kits we have, like part # RM-154. Look for the image labeled Combined RV to Separate Towed Vehicle.
I have added a link to a video of a tow bar wiring install on a 2006 Jeep Liberty that also has separate brake and turn lights that should be pretty helpful for you.
