Question:
Hello, my Fulton F2 slides without cranking.... it moves freely if I pull the wheel out, and can push it back in. Any help?

I spoke to my contact at Fulton and he informed me that there are 3 possible scenarios for why your Fulton F2 jack would slide freely like it is. He also said that unfortunately all three of the situations basically indicate that the jack will have quite a bit of damage internally and that your best option would be to replace the jack.
Either the nut has stripped, which could potentially damage the threads of the screw. The nut has broken out of its crimp. Or, finally the pin at the top of the jack has broken. When I asked him about if any of those scenarios are repairable he said that to get to the broken parts you would need to take the jack further apart then they recommend customers attempt because the jack becomes difficult to reassemble correctly.
This jack does have a limited lifetime warranty so you might try contacting where you purchased your jack from to see if it would qualify to be warrantied.
