What Stealth Hitch Fits a 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5 & Will Installing It Void My Warranty?

Hi Jim,

We do have a Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver part # SH34CR as well as some other brands of trailer hitches that are already available for your 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5 (will not fit the XRT model). If you prefer no receiver to be visible at all when not in use, you'll want to go with the Stealth Hitch as the EcoHitch and Curt trailer hitches will have a visible receiver. All the trailer hitches available for your vehicle will require trimming the fascia in order to install them, but no other modifications are needed. I've linked the installation instructions for the Curt 2" Trailer Hitch part # C34FR47RY because it has photos of the install so you can see what it'll entail.

As far as voiding your warranty, installing an aftermarket hitch would not automatically void your warranty. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1974 and Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines, a manufacturer or dealership cannot cancel your entire vehicle warranty or deny an unrelated repair simply because you installed an aftermarket part or accessory. A dealership can only deny a warranty claim if they can prove that the aftermarket hitch or its installation directly caused the specific failure or damage you are asking them to fix. That would include, towing or hauling something that exceeds the vehicle's limits, so you'll want to make sure you stick to your vehicle's tow capacities.
