Question:
Yall have that aluminum bolt on bumper I am interested in. I want to put this onto my 2023 Dutchmen Coleman Rubicon 1748RB to pull a Kendon folding single bike trailer 350 with my 2015 Goldwing GL1800 980 tongue weight approx 350-400 will this overstress the frame and/or bumper?? Can I safely pull a setup like described? Mount-n-Lock Accessories and Parts - MNT78VR The rear-frame towing capacity is not listed on this RV. It is basically the exact bumper that yall did an instructional video on the a 2020 Dutchman on your website attached to this product info screen Currently it has a factory bumper with a spare tire attached and previous owner attached a bolt on hitch receiver with a 5,000 tow rating and 500 TONGUE WEIGHT

Hi Jeff!
While the Mount-n-Lock Heavy-Haul'r Standard Duty Replacement RV Bumper - 4.0" - 500 lbs - Mill # MNT78VR can support up to 500 pounds when evenly distributed, I don't think I would trust it to do what you are wanting it to. The better option is to use the hitch that is already attached to the frame of your Dutchmen. It will be by far the stronger way to go.
Now if you meant the hitch the previous owner installed is on the bumper, I would add one to the frame instead. Something like the Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to 66" Wide # C13704. This has 500 pounds of tongue weight capacity and 5,000 pounds of towing capacity and will will be able to handle your Kendon trailer and Goldwing.
The only other thing you will want to be aware of is that triple towing (having a trailer behind another trailer) isn't legal in all states. It never hurts to double check your local laws and the laws of the states you will be travelling through to make sure you won't run into any surprises.
And nice bike! I rode one of these once (not sure what year) and it was super comfortable. Where are you planning on taking it?

I go to N Carolina a bit (Tail of the Dragon) area but last year My buddy & I Did the "epic" trip Riding from Texarkana, TX to Pueblo, Co then thru Salt Lake City, UT. we did Boise, ID an thru the west side of the Rockies into Canada (Too many places) to get to Skagway, AK. & spent 4th of July there. Finished up that and rode the eastern Rockies back down thru Jasper, Glacier Nat'l Park & Banff B.C. back to Sturgis where we rode everywhere (9 days) & left 2 days before that event started & headed to the great lakes (Superior area & lake Michigan). headed back south and arrived back in Texas end of the first week of August 2025. 6 weeks in all on our Goldwings...... Ummm EPIC!! Gonna do similar again in 2028. Thanks for the info on bumper. I'll look at the Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to 66" Wide # C13704. Jeff
