How To Mount A DeeZee Toolbox In The Bed Of A 2026 Ford F-150
Published 10/27/2026 >
Question:
What is the best way to install DeeZee chest tool box in my 2026 ford f150? I have a used box that needs to go in my new truck. No instructions or screws where to put screws and what type, length etc. A little nervous about drilling into my new truck bed, in the wrong place….

Hi Dave!
To mount your DeeZee tool box in your new 2026 F-150, you will need four 1/4" x 1" hex head sheet metal screws. There should also be four holes in the bottom of the tool box. That is where you will be drilling 3/16" holes (to help the 1/4" screws go in easier). The only other thing you may need is the foam rubber tape at the bottom of the tool box, but we don't carry that and you should be able to find something at a local hardware store pretty easily. A 1" or 2" wide strip that is just about as long as your box will do just fine.
Then you just need to figure out where you want to mount it in your bed. That part will be fully up to you. ^___^
What are you going to be keeping in the tool box? Camping stuff or more work related.
