Looking For Axle With Hubs For 2001 Bandit Boat Trailer

Published 10/27/2026

Question:

Hi I’m looking for an axle with hub if available. I’m hoping you can look up the part by vin number. The trailer is a 2001 bandit boat trailer for a 13ft boat. Vin- 5A4CRSL1912000283. 2000 GVWR. 4 lug. Square tube. Let me know thanks.

Hey Michael, thanks for reaching out. We may have the axle you need, but there is no way to use a VIN to look up your axle specs. There just isn't a universal VIN database for trailers like there is for motor vehicles. So, I will need more information from you in order to narrow down what axle you need.

The first thing to try is get under your trailer and see if your axle has a tag or sticker on it. A lot of times the axle tag will show the weight capacity, hub face (HF) length and spring center (SC) length. Those are the three most important specs for choosing an axle.

If no sticker is present, you can always measure the HF and SClength, and we can select an axle based on that and your GVWR.

For example, the Trailer Axle with Idler Hubs # e82GR has 5 on 4-1/2" idler hubs, is rated for 2,000 lbs and has a 60" HF and 48" SC. I've included a picture that shows how to take those measurements.

Get me that info when you get a chance and I'm happy to look into it and see if we have the axle you need.

Whereabouts do you go boating most often?
