Will Dometic Replacement Remote FV9068-81 Work With Dometic FanTastic Roof Vent FV7300

Question:

Will this remote work for model FV7300, PNC 958676120, SKU9108870660? The remote I have stopped working dropped it has Zhongding 12W 02 20 00856.

Hey Frank,

The Replacement Dometic FanTastic Remote # FV9068-81 is compatible with FV7300 roof vents manufactured after January 2014. We actually confirmed this directly with Dometic awhile back.

However, older FV7300 models (before Jan 2014) use a different remote that's unfortunately discontinued. You

Do you happen to know what year your FanTastic vent was manufactured? If not, I'd see if the remote looks like this one and if so, it'll work.

Manufacture date is 2021/02, My remote looks similar, except mine does not have IN/OUT buttons. I will place an order. Can you reply with the correct pairing procedure? Thanks

@Frank Hey Frank, this will be the correct remote even though your unit doesn't use those In/Out buttons. To pair your new remote # FV9068-81 with your FV7300, follow these steps: Make sure the fan has 12V power and the remote has fresh batteries. Hold the remote within 12" of the fan. Press and hold both temperature arrows (up and down) simultaneously. The Manual and Auto lights should begin flashing. Keep holding until all 7 LED lights flash together, which can take around 45 seconds. If that doesn't work, repeat the process using the two fan-speed arrows instead. If you're still having trouble, try removing the remote batteries and disconnecting power to the fan for 2 minutes before attempting to pair them again.
