Hey James!

Welcome back, and thanks for asking!

The etrailer Self-Contained Hydraulic Trailer Jack # e33VV would be a great option for your 2026 Iron Bull dump trailer! It's rated for 12,000 lbs of lifting capacity, which exceeds the 10,000 lbs you're looking for, and provides 24-1/4" of lift. It also has a convenient wired remote, so you won't have to worry about manually cranking the jack.

The # e33VV runs on a full-size 12V deep-cycle RV/marine battery. I'd recommend a Group 27 battery, although if your dump trailer already has a suitable battery powering its hydraulic lift, you may be able to use that instead. You'll just need to add the positive and negative battery cables, along with mounting hardware if you're bolting the jack on.

One thing I'd like to confirm is whether your Iron Bull currently uses a single jack or a dual-leg setup. You can install two of the # e33VV jacks, but each operates independently with its own remote.

If you have two jack legs, I'd actually recommend the Atlas IV Vaquero Self-Contained Hydraulic Tandem Jacks # ST27VR instead. This system has a combined 20,000-lb lifting capacity and 26" of lift. It includes both jack legs, the hydraulic hoses, and the fittings needed to connect them, allowing both legs to operate together from a single remote.

Does your Iron Bull currently have one jack or two, and are you looking to replace what's there or upgrade to a dual-leg setup? I'd love to help you get the right fit!

I’ve bought two of these and replaced both hydraulic units with in one year, I would not buy this jack again I’d buy one from Primary Mover that’s who I purchased the hydraulic units from, I highly recommend them.

@StarW That's interesting to hear and I'm really sorry that that was your experience. I'm curious, what kind of trailer do you have (dump trailer, utility, etc) and what were you hauling with it? Did you ever use it in or around a fresh or salt water environment? I'm not finding your order by your email to find the specifics, but I do appreciate your feedback and I'd be happy to look more into this however I can.

@JerryB Two dump trailers no salt water just very poor built hydraulic units. I replaced both jack motors then solenoids went bad so I replaced hydraulic units. I can’t have jack issues while working.

@Mark That's understandable. I'm going to pass along that information to our Product Development team to see if that's a known issue. Thanks for sharing!

@David Thanks for your reply! I'm glad to hear it's working well for you. What do you haul with your dump trailer?
