Parkit360 Transformer Weight Capacity and Hydraulic Landing Gear Compatibility

Updated 10/27/2026 | Published 10/26/2026

Question:

I have a 40foot fifth wheel that when fully loaded might be closer to 15,500 lbs. Realizing that this is rated for slightly less will that be a problem? I dont see a model that can handle more weight. Secondly, I have hydraulic landing gear so the jacks are solid round pistons without holes in them like the landing gear example in your video. Can this be attached to the bolt holes in the supports for my landing gear as opposed to the landing gear itself? Thanks, David

Hey David! The Parkit360 Transformer # PA66VR has a maximum capacity of 15,000 lbs for a 5th wheel, along with a 3,000 lb kingpin weight limit. I wouldn't recommend exceeding those ratings since you could end up damaging a pretty expensive piece of equipment.

Since you said your trailer might weigh 15,500 lbs fully loaded, I recommend getting an actual weight before ruling it out. You may find you're already within the capacity, or you could potentially remove some cargo to get below the limit.

For your hydraulic landing gear, the stabilizer bars can attach directly to the kingpin box instead of the jack legs. You'll use the existing bolt locations on the pin box to secure the brackets, so you won't need to drill into your hydraulic jacks. See the attached photos.

What kind of fifth wheel do you have?
