Best Lithium Compatible Replacement For WFCO WF-8735P Converter

Updated 10/26/2026 | Published 10/24/2026

Question:

I have a 2019 Jayco that has a WF-8735P converter. I have upgraded to a Lithium battery but am only getting 8-10 amps at 70 charge and need to replace the convertor or even better, the entire power station. Can you provide with options for both the convertor and a power station replacement?

Hey Robert, thanks for reaching out. Your best option here will be to replace your entire power station. Your current WF-8735P is not compatible with Lithium batteries, so that explains why you aren't getting a full charge. To replace it, I recommend the following:

- WFCO Auto Detect RV Converter and AC/DC Distribution Panel - 12V - 35 Amp # WF96FR

This will replace the entire power center so it can provide your Lithium batteries with a full charge. These new WFCo panels work great, just keep in mind you need to run the batteries thru a few discharge cycles for the auto detect feature to kick in. Once you do that, you'll be good to go.

Do you usually camp off grid, or at sites with hookups?
