Longview Towing Mirror Fitment for 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 RST

Updated 10/29/2026 | Published 10/23/2026

Question:

Does this slip on towing mirror LO54FR fit a 2024 Silverado 1500 RST with blind spot mirrors?

Hi Jeff,

The Longview Custom Towing Mirrors, part # LO54FR, are a great option to consider for your Silverado. They will not interfere with the blind spot monitoring system because of the cut outs on the bottom.

What do you usually tow with your Chevy?

I would give them at least a solid 4 out of 5 stars. They are easy on easy off, once set to your viewing needs/angle they stay at that setting if stored properly (I store mine in the original box when not in use) and have very little vibration. I use mine on a 2025 Silverado 1500 to tow a 24 foot enclosed car trailer. I would definitely buy again.

@DonO Very little vibration is nice to hear. A lot of times that's where towing mirrors fall short. Sounds like you may be towing around a vintage car?

I bought them for my 2026 Silverado 1500LT they worked fine just sometime you have to adjust them while traveling. But I would give them 4 stars out of 5

@Bob When do you find yourself adjusting them the most? After highway use?

@HeatherA Yes, usually driving on a trip when you hit a little bit of rough road just one side loses adjustment where you can’t see around for the trailer and usually I just stop and tweet it a little bit. I was gonna put super once they adjusted I was put superglue on the part that moves and that would fix it. But now I bought the camera for my Chevy Silverado that makes the trailer disappear so I don’t use them anymore. but I felt they did the job. They said they would I really liked them.

In two years I've ran 20,000 miles with these mirrors and I've taken them off dozens of times between camping trips. They work great and they don't damage my factory mirrors when installed.

@HeatherA In two years we have taken numerous trips to Yellowstone, Myrtle Beach, Upstate NY, Charlestown SC, Cape Charles, Tennessee and Georgia. We are retired and go about a dozen times a year. Home is in Pennsylvania.
