Hey Troy, the Blue Ox Battery Disconnect for Towed Vehicle w/ Flat Tow Brake System # BLU58HR that you referenced will work for you. All this does is interrupt the circuit that it is installed on so if you installed it on the negative post of your battery it would be exactly like disconnecting the negative post like your owners manual requires. Do you have the rest of your flat tow setup picked out already?
