Hi, I am thinking about buying a ram 1500 with the cargo management bed. Do you have a truck rack with the cantilever setup that would work for that?

Hey there Kalen.

We have several ladder racks with cantilever extensions for the Ram 1500, but unfortunately none that are confirmed to fit models equipped with the RamBox cargo management system.

However, we do have another option! The Fas-Top JayBar Ladder Rack # FT26MJ is compatible with RamBox-equipped trucks and has a 400-lb weight capacity. It doesn't have the cantilever extension, but it gives you a rack that sits above the bed.

The catch is that this rack requires a compatible Fas-Top tonneau cover # FT63YV since it mounts directly to the cover's accessory rails. These parts are both confirmed to fit 2012-2022 Ram 1500 with 6-1/2' bed and RamBox. I'm not seeing any ladder racks that will work with the RamBox without first installing a tonneau cover, but there may be some other aftermarket options that I'm not familiar with.

What year Ram 1500 are you considering, and does it have the 5-1/2' or 6-1/2' bed? That'll help me make sure we're pointing you toward the right setup!
