Question:
I have a 2012 Transit Connect with a cage behind the front seats. Will I need to remove it in order to install the mat?

Hi Jesse,
Yes, you’ll need to trim the Guardian Comfort Custom Floor Mat part # VTTC11 if you have a cage or divider behind the front seats. The mat is designed to extend from behind the front seats toward the cargo area, so a cage in that area can interfere with the fit.
The good news is that the mat can be easily modified with a standard razor utility knife to make a clean cut around the cage, letting you keep the divider in place while still protecting the floor.
What do you haul most often in your Transit Connect, tools, packages, or bikes?

Ok thanks Heather! I haul most tools as I'm a contractor. I just don't like setting stuff on the uneven factory surface because it makes it wobble. Thanks again!
