Hi Terry, for your 2000 Ford F 250 Super Duty with a 3 inch lift, you would need to replace your current tubular running boards rather than add steps to them. We do not currently have an add on step that is designed to attach to the existing tubular bars, there may be some out there that exist but I wouldn't trust adding a universal bracket to the OEM running boards if it were my truck.

If I were you, I would replace the existing boards with the Westin Outlaw Nerf Bars with Drop Steps, part # W28RX. These are custom fit for your F-250 and have a 4 inch drop step, giving you a lower, wider stepping surface that should make getting in and out of your lifted truck much easier.

What I like about these is that the drop step is built right into the running board, so you get a sturdy, purpose built step instead of trying to modify your existing setup. The wide, slip resistant step area is also nice for getting in and out when your boots are muddy or wet.

Before you order, I would need to know the cab style of your truck. These are designed for a crew cab specifically. What is the cab style of your truck?
