will this fit a Polaris Ranger 570 utv. Front or back side?

Hey Rick, thanks for reaching out. I do have an option for you, but the SaltDogg Electric Tailgate Salt Spreader # 337TGS03 isn't a good fit for a Polaris Ranger 570. It's designed for 1/2-ton, 3/4-ton, and 1-ton trucks with a 2-inch Class IV receiver and has an 8 cubic foot hopper. Once it's loaded with salt, it weighs far more than a Ranger hitch is designed to carry.

If your Ranger has a 2-inch receiver, the spreader can physically mount in either the front or rear receiver. That said, I only recommend using it on a full-size pickup with an appropriately rated hitch.

For a Polaris UTV, a much better option is the following:

This is designed for 2" ATV hitches. It weighs only 57-1/2" lbs unloaded so it's much better suited for an UTV hitch. It can be used in both a front or rear hitch as long as it has adequate weight capacity.
