Why wont a cargo box work with a sunroof?

I spoke to my contact at Thule, and she informed me that on the models of the 2012 Lexus RX 350s that have the sunroof there isn't enough structural integrity left in the roof since so much of it is glass for them to recommend installing a roof rack and cargo box. She said they removed a great deal of bracing on the roof of the sunroof models so roof racks and cargo boxes are not recommended.
I do have an option for you to carry additional cargo with your vehicle though. First you will need a hitch with a 2-inch opening. For that you would want the Curt Hitch part # C13143. And then you could carry the enclosed cargo carrier, Yakima EXO Swing Away Enclosed Cargo Carrier # Y62VR. Check out the review video I attached.
