Will The Headrest Safe Slide Car Safe Fit 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sport

Question:

Subject: Fitment and removal questions for The Headrest Safe HS57FR on a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sport Message: Hello etrailer team, I am looking at The Headrest Safe Slide Car Safe Leatherette - Black, Part HS57FR and have two specific questions before purchasing: Vehicle Fitment: Will this model fit the front seats of a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sport? Jeep Wrangler seats often have unique headrest post spacing and angular shapes compared to standard universal fits, so I want to verify if this specific part number is compatible with my vehicle out of the box. Installation Permanence: The manufacturers installation videos mention that once the headrest is installed, it is permanent. Can you clarify what this means? If I sell or trade in my Jeep down the road, am I able to use a key or removal tool to take the safe out and reinstall my factory headrest, or is it truly a permanent fixture that cannot be transferred to a different vehicle? Thank you for your help!

Hey Emma! Yes, the The Headrest Safe Slide Car Safe # HS57FR will fit your 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sport. The mounting plate is adjustable so you can space the bolts however you need them to fit the Wrangler. See the attached photo.

There are wing nuts that keep it locked into place so someone can't simply remove the safe and walk off with it. However, you can still remove it and move it to another vehicle. When the time comes, you will unscrew the posts from the wing nuts, and the wing nuts will remain down in the seat so you'll have to replace them for the new vehicle.

Will this be your storage when you have the top off?

Thank you.We are looking to add this to our vehicle. We also.want to make sure we can re install the OEM headrest upon the removal of the headrest safe without any additional configuration upon the resell/trade of the vehicle. E.Thompson

@EmmaT yes, you will be able to reinstall the OEM headrests once you get the wing nuts off and remove the # HS57FR.
