Where Does the Remote Cable Connect on the Go Power 3000 Watt Inverter Charger?

Updated 05/29/2026 | Published 05/24/2026

Question:

I have installed the Go Power C 3000 and it seems to be working great. But I am having a problem finding a way to attach the cable that goes from the unit to the inside info unit inside. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hello Roger,

Thanks for writing in.

You’re definitely not the only one who’s run into this with the Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter Charger # 34275013. The remote display cable connection can be a little hard to spot once the inverter is mounted.

The cable plugs into the remote communication port on the inverter, usually on the same side as the power connections. Depending on how tight the install space is, the port can end up partially hidden, so sometimes loosening the inverter enough to reach the port makes things easier. The connector should click in similar to an ethernet cable once it’s fully seated.

When routing the cable to the inside display, it’s a good idea to run it through a protected pass-through or rubber grommet anywhere it passes through metal or wood panels. That helps prevent the cable from getting pinched or damaged over time from vibration while traveling.

If the inside display still does not power up after connecting it, I’d double check that the cable is fully seated on both ends and make sure it’s plugged into the correct port since there are a couple connections on the unit that can look similar.

If you are referring to something else. please let me know.

Glad to hear the inverter itself is working great so far. What kind of camping trips are you getting ready for with the new setup?

Yes the unit works great (so far). The question is the grey cable (like a tv cable, small and flat) that goes to the wall in the kitchen to show the unit is working correctly. The cables for most everything where installed on the chassis before the motorhome was added. It is really hard to find a way to feed the cable (have not found a way so far). Has someone found a way to feed this cable?

@RogerD You may need to create your own hole with a gromet, if you cannot find an existing one to feed it through.
