Hi Lisa, great question!

For the Romik RAL-TB running boards part # RMK97JR, the brackets are adjustable from 0 up to about a 3-inch drop, so you’ve got some flexibility to dial in the step height based on your truck and preference. That adjustability comes from multiple mounting positions, so you can set them higher for ground clearance or lower for easier entry.

Just keep in mind that the lowest setting is the full drop, and like most adjustable systems, that position can slightly reduce the overall weight capacity compared to the higher settings. Other than that, it’s a straightforward install and gives you a nice range to work with.

Are you trying to get more of a lower step for easier access, or keeping them tucked up a bit higher for clearance?

@LisaC The brackets do come with the kit. If you are looking for just the brackets, we currently do not carry them individually but I can get a hold of Romik for you. Are you looking for just the brackets or do you need the boards as well?
