Question:

I do not have any body mounts for running board brackets. Any suggestions?

Hi Socky!

I may have an option for you, but I also have to ask, what happened to your body mounts? There should be several near the doors. At least there were on my 92 Chevy Blazer full size when I had that back in the day.

If they really aren't there, you may be able to use something like the DeeZee Universal Nerf Bars - 3" Round - 64" Long - Black # DZ3700291. I will admit to not knowing how much space you have between the tires though, so you will need to measure that. These are 64" long, so as long as you have at least that much space, they will work. Make sure to turn your wheels all the way so you have enough clearance for that as well. These attach to the frame, so no body mounts are needed. You do have to drill through the frame for the install though.

We also have the Westin Molded Running Boards w/ Custom Installation Kit - 6" Wide - Black # 27-0000-1015 (or brushed aluminum # 27-6120-1015) that doesn't use the body mounts, but it is a different style step. They are a custom fit though, so the guessing would be taken out of the fit, which is nice.

Are you trying to make getting in and out easier after lifting your Tahoe?
