Question:
I was wondering how well these would hold a 76 pound canoe on my 2003 tacoma? I was going to use the reese canoe loader with the racks. Do the mount solidly on the tacomas. I also haul ladders for work. How well would the work with a 24 foot ladder?

The Sportrack Semi-Custom Roof Rack part # SR1005 is a semi custom fit roof rack that offers a great price but it does not fit quite as well as some of the other roof rack systems. Unless you absolutely have to have the most inexpensive option I would not recommend this rack for you.
A much better option for you since you plan on carrying longer items, (canoe and ladder) would be a Roof Rack with T-Load Hitch Mounted Load bar that consists of the following parts:
Inno Aero Crossbars # INXB130-2
Inno Through Feet # INXS250
Custom Fit Kit # INK143
Rhino-Rack T-Load Hitch Mounted Load Bar # RTL002
If you do not have a hitch you would want the part # 13013.
For load stops to secure you canoe and ladder you would want the Thule Load Stops part # TH503. For straps you could use the Erickson Ratchet straps part # 34413.
