Can Yakima LockNLoad Platform Rack With RuggedLine HD Hold Roof Top Tent

Question:
This mentions a max load of 220 lbs. Does that mean I cannot install a roof top tent, then sleep in it? Most list both a static and dynamic load. Can you help clarify please?

Hey Steve! The Yakima LockNLoad Platform Rack with RuggedLine HD Mounting System # Y44NJ is capable of holding a roof top tent. The 220 lb capacity is the dynamic capacity. They don't list a static capacity but it is safe to say as long as your roof capacity can handle the tent the platform will be able to as well. Always make sure you don't exceed the capacity of your vehicle roof.
