Will the RM-1109-121 Sway Bar Clear a Long Range Fuel Tank on a G30 Van?

Hey Jack, I totally get why you’re double checking this first. The last thing you want is to get into the install and find out the sway bar is fighting for space with that larger fuel tank. The Roadmaster RM-1109-121 is confirmed to fit 1975 through 1996 Chevy and GMC G30 cutaway vans, but Roadmaster doesn’t provide specific fitment details for vans equipped with an oversize or long range tank, so I can’t confidently say it will clear without seeing how your tank sits in relation to the frame and rear axle.

If your tank extends further back or sits lower than the standard setup, there’s a chance it could interfere with the mounting points or the path of the sway bar during installation. The best way to avoid any surprises is to take a quick photo of the tank area near the rear axle and frame rails and send that over. I can take a closer look and help you spot any potential clearance issues before you commit to the install.

Can you snap a picture of how your tank sits around the rear axle so I can make sure this will bolt up cleanly for you?
